I know it’s hard to keep it up when you’re in the heart of Summer and the days are getting hotter & hotter… then the nearest beach is the solution to the god damn heat! It’s times like these when Greece is a true Heaven for everyone that loves the sun and the wonderful seas. It’s kinda impossible not to feel like a little kid and wanna have fun and spend your days feeling careless & fooling around… even if our “beloved” European counterparts are doing their best to ruin that.
I (we) meet with lots of foreigners, especially, during summertime and everyone is feeling so excited to be here and loves the country, the sun, the seas, our festivities, our lifestyle and so on… but on the other hand, they’re sad for the financial problems and the people that are not living quite joyfully these days. Some twisted minds decided to bring down the mother of Europe… the country that without it, no Europe can exist… and the worst of all is that we see some people who agree and say that it’s all for our best interest. How destroying a nation and Europe generally… can bring any good to anyone? Are the leaders so narrow-minded or utterly naive to believe that people are overly stupid and can be manipulated by their tricked means? Can’t they see that there’s only one way to end things up? Can’t they feel that the time is drawing nearer?
Thankfully, in times like that we’ve still got good music that plays a vital role to our inner world and fills us with courage, hope and power to go on. There are many wonderful works that are being released daily, even independently sometimes, that are showing there’s still something good in this world besides all the evil things. Just as a renowned Greek philosopher used to say: “see a nation’s music and you’ll understand whether it’s about to fall or not”...
They tried to fill us with junk/trash pop/Rn’B music all these years but they failed… now it’s our time to send them the message that we are united and no matter if they want to or not… rock/metal music will never die and we will keep the flame alive as long as it takes… Long Live Rock & Roll…
PS: The GR team is wishing great holidays and a happy Summer time to each & every one of you…
