Music and Seasons in total balance…

GR logoFall is here… and Summer is over! Well, that’s life and we cannot do otherwise. Even though some of us fancy Summer more than anything, we cannot change the way things go. The same thing goes for your beloved bands as well. Sometimes they excite us and other times they disappoint us. Then again, we must always support our beloved rock/metal music by buying stuff and also attending the live shows, no matter what.

Hence let’s set things straight so as not to be misunderstood by anyone. I do not mean that one should act like they fancy the new release from their beloved band, just because it’s their favorite band… being or trying hard to be truly subjective is something that doesn’t seem to appeal to lots of music fans. But that’s what we do here on Grande Rock since day one. We really fancy listening to as many new albums (and not only) as we can and we are truly glad when we separate some albums out of the numerous ones we have to review, cuz good music has never ceased and will never do so.

Moreover, it is easier for any band/artist to release their music nowadays besides music labels and PR companies. I do know that it ain’t that easy though to get the attention they are longing for, but it’s way better for their music to be out there and wait to get “discovered” by the music fans, than be in a basement with no chance of being heard by anyone. Today’s music means has helped and will not stop helping all those true musicians, who are really into making music and they do not care what shall be done next.

PS1: Autumn is the right era for some deep atmospheric & melancholic music…

PS2: The Model Spotlight for this month is the super sexy Cassandra Cameron. Check out her interview and pics here.

PS3: This month’s editorial is dedicated to John Thomas “Sib” Hashian, the drummer who played on Boston’s first two best-selling albums and he passed away at the age of 67. May He Rest In Peace…
