I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

This is something that we (the fans) all needed! No, don’t be confused, this is not the new album of Surrender but rather a re-release of their highly-acclaimed, self-produced, self-titled album which was released back in 1991, with the addition of three bonus tracks that never made it to the first album. The good news here is not only that we finally have one hell of an album in our hands, but that no fan will be in the dilemma of paying a huge amount of money in order to get the debut album.

One of the most talked about Country singles of the summer is ironically not from a band out of the USA but from of all places Sweden! Miss Anderson is a Swedish rock band with influences that range from 70s and 80s rock, American west coast rock and contemporary American country music. The music is inspired by artists such as Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, the Eagles, Journey and Bon Jovi, and is described as “a rock sound spiced with country, storytelling and with straight and honest lyrics”.

David A. Saylor is mostly known from his band Push (UK) and for being a session vocalist, music producer, songwriter and vocal arranger. Two years ago, he finally managed to release Push’s (UK) debut album through AOR BLVD Records. Now, he delivers his first solo album… which is a pure AOR, with lots of Westcoast & pop elements, release. How pure huh? Well, just bring artists like: Jimi Jamison, Steve Perry, Richard Marx, Tim Feehan, John Farnham, Stan Bush & Bob Halligan among others on your mind… and you’ve got the picture of how this album sounds like.

“Future Past” is the follow up to “How Long” that was released in 1989. Yeap, time moves with the speed of light… and 23 years may pass in a blink of an eye… but the fire to write and record music is not calming down… and that’s quite encouraging.

Michael Thompson is a rather famous studio session guitarist and has worked with some of the biggest names (Robin Beck, Cher, Doro, Richard Marx, Robert Tepper, and Bonnie Tyler among other) of pop & rock music. MTB is his personal project where he plays the music he enjoys the most… and in truth to be told, he did deliver a wonderful AOR/Westcoast album back in 1989.
Coastland Ride is a Swedish band that was formed back in 1997 and several years after (in 2003) the guys managed to release their debut album which was simply titled “Coastland Ride”. I do not know why it took them 8 years to release the follower of their debut but in the meantime they changed label and signed with the German Avenue Of Allies.

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the signing to the label of a brand new Artist SONIC STATION for the release of their self titled debut album on February 24th 2012 in Europe and February 28th in North America.

Nine years have passed since Mecca I. The band’s debut was an excellent AOR record indeed. Great musicians such as David Hungate (bass, ex-Toto) and Fergie Frederiksen (vocals, ex-Toto) have co-operated with the band’s singer/songwriter/mastermind Joe Vana. Let’s not forget the great Jim Peterik (ex-Survivor, Pride of Lions) who contributed to the songwriting and production of the album.

I have to say that, I only now, got ahold of this fine little CD in a hard/actual format! Since, I don’t download, it took me forever to acquire a copy of this album through a Swedish friend (Thanks man!)

Hi Kenny... thx for re-releasing your debut album with the addition of three unreleased songs. It was a very smart move for all the fans out there...

K: Thanks, Thanos. I wanted to give our beautiful, beautiful fans their money’s worth, and these were 3 good songs that were appropriate for this release. Plus, they get to decide for themselves whether the whole analog vs. digital controversy in the record industry is worth the breath expended. We recorded a lot of songs with Eric, but they’re not, well... Surrender songs, as in this vein, with Surrender production values, so there was no point in going further into the vault.
