VICIOUS RUMORS is about to start a massive European tour from May 3 to June 1 2013. However with great sadness we just found out singer Brian Allen will not be able to tour during the month of May due to sudden family matters . We wish Brian all the best during this time.

 

ICED EARTH band leader Jon Schaffer reveals the title and more details on the new studio album:

“The new ICED EARTH studio album is expected to have an late 2013 release date. It will be titled "Plagues of Babylon" and we are very excited about how killer things are sounding this early in the writing/demo process.

After months of searching and reviewing literally hundreds of applicants from around the world, Pentagram is excited to announce Matt Goldborough as their new guitarist. Matt is a Philadelphia based musician, composer and riff aficionado. Versed in many genres of music, Matt’s experience outside of the heavy metal world brings a fresh yet classic approach to this genre-defining band. His style hearkens back to the very origins of “heavy metal” itself when heavy blues and psychedelic rock guitarists pioneered the genre in an attempt to harden rock and roll. This of course is exactly what Bobby Liebling and the original Pentagram line up did back in 1971.

 

In late 2012/early 2013, Blood Ceremony enclosed themselves within a dank, tomb-like chamber to begin preparations for their third album. After a mind-numbing spell in the analogue womb of Toronto’s ProGold Studios, the band is now ready to unveil their newest, and most accomplished, musical offering: “The Eldritch Dark”. The pioneers of oriental metal music and warriors of light, ORPHANED LAND, are going to release their long awaited new album "All Is One" on June 24th (USA June 25TH) 2013.

 

This release is the bands 6th full length and marks a huge step forward! Today the band revealed the incredible cover artwork for "All Is One" created by the French artist Metastazis (Paradise lost, As I lay Dying, Sonne Adam, Watain...), incorporating perfectly the three signs of the biggest religions as one.

 

Guitarist Joe Satriani has launched a video for his new single “A Door Into Summer” taken from his new 2013 album “Unstoppable Momentum”.  

 

The video features exclusive footage from the famed Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, California, where Joe recorded the new album with Mike Keneally, Vinnie Colaiuta and Chris Chaney.
