I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

I honestly wasn’t expecting anything spectacular to come my way as 2012 is ending and just about all the albums have taken their way so far. Well, never say never, huh? From the moment “Invicta” came to my notice, it became the number one priority for me to hear. Due to the album’s independent nature I wasn’t aware of it till now. I guess it’s true to get it better late than never. I think it’s needless to speak about the band for it is well-known but in any case I will only say that The Enid was formed in 1974 by the keyboardist/songwriter Robert John Godfrey (ex-Barclay James Harvest).

Warnot is the new project of the former Doctor Weird & Cloudscape guitarist/composer Bjorn Eliasson. Bjorn is the one & only responsible for the result as he has written, produced, recorded and mastered the album all by himself. Of course, he’s accompanied by a bunch of friends/vocalists like: Thomas Bursell (Second Heat and Helsingborgs Symphony Choirs), Mike Andersson (Cloudscape, Full Force, Star One, Silent Memorial etc.), Sussi Sorensen (Bo Wilson Band), Bjorn Persson (Doctor Weird), Sara Andersson (Helsingborg choirs), Bjorn Eliasson (Cloudscape) & Andre Mollestam.

Legendary singer and songwriter Greg Lake tours the UK and Europe in "Songs of a Lifetime", a shared musical journey and performance experience, which received rave reviews from fans and critics alike in North America. The tour begins this November 2012 in the UK.

Hailed as an "artistic triumph" and "the experience of a lifetime", "Songs of a Lifetime" gives new insight into Greg Lake and his influences, while showcasing the influence his writing and voice have had not only for rock and roll, but contemporary music of all types.

2011 saw the uprising of a new breed of Extreme Symphonic Metal. Saturnian are a 5 piece from the United Kingdom, proud of a country rich in metal history and ready to usher in a new age charged with its pedigree. Saturnian was formed around one main principle – to create epic and majestic music to enchant fans of all metal genres; delivered in a grand and dramatic style that could soundtrack a blockbuster movie or theatrical performance.

For some inexplicable reason, I had a great anxiety to hear this album. It feels like ages ago and in a sense it has been ages, since I was first exposed to Henrick Flyman's musical genius, via the Moahni Moahna albums, their debut a classy neoclassical, faux-Rainbow affair and their sophomore, a wacked out, freakazoid, prog, completely played out, masterful piece of weirdness!

When The man who plays what's “left”, (or was it right?) resurfaced in Evil Masquerade, I absolutely loved, that the wackiness, was retained, albeit presented in a more power metal context.

More akin to a Broadway musical than a standard rock performance, EA's highly theatrical stage show is a sexy circus of glam-rock burlesque.

Featuring electric violin pyrotechnics, heartbreakingly lush orchestrations, hard-core beats and menacing lyrics growled with enough intensity to make your hair stand on end. The tour kicks off January 25 in Missouri.
