Gory Blister are coming from Italy and they have been around since the early 90s… but it was only in 2003 when they eventually released their debut album. This is their fourth full-length album, which is being released under a new label.

Hi Martin… I’m glad that I have the chance to talk with you about Soen’s debut album. We’ve put it in the “GEMS” category on Grande Rock!

M: Hey, we’re glad for the chance given. Great! It's an honor to fit in that category.

I’d like to start with the band’s background. Soen was formed back in 2005, by Martin & Kim but it started giving some signs of life after 5 years. What happened all these years? Did you work over some music or you just waited for the other 2 members to fill in the gaps?

Fly Machine was a band that was hard to put your finger on. On one hand, it was a no holds barred metal band intent on bashing out mean riffs and complex rhythm changes.

On the other hand, Fly Machine was a band eager to break the confines of underground metal and explore other sounds. The band were originally the remnants of Raleigh's own metal heavyweights, Confessor, and now current members of Loincloth (Southern Lord Recordings).

Jeff Loomis of Nevermore fame is proud to present a new song of the upcoming album "Plains Of Oblivion" that will be released on April 10th in North America and April 9th in Europe via Century Media Records.

"Surrender" features guest vocals by Ihsahn (also known for his groundbreaking work with Norwegian Black Metal innovators Emperor).

Some exclusive news, only at Grande-Rock.com, for the new Thought Chamber album...

Thought Chamber has a new drummer, Mike Haid, and are presently recording their new album, "Psykerion", a sci-fi/human drama concept record, which features songs such as "Light Year Time", "Circuits of O.D.D.", and "Transcend".

The band still is led by guitarist/songwriter, Michael Harris, and vocalist Ted Leonard, who is also the new vocalist of Spock's Beard.

Sweden’s extreme, technical metal band MESHUGGAH have chosen "KOLOSS" as the title to their eighth studio album, set for North American release on March 27th and European release on March 23rd.

Drummer Tomas Haake has issued the following warning:
“As always, we try to take our music in a slightly different direction with each album and with KOLOSS we feel that we really nailed what we were going for. Organic brutality, viscera and groove all crammed into a 54-minute metalicious treat, best avoided by the faint of heart!!”

Aussie technical death metal outfit, Psycroptic, has revealed the cover art for the band’s fifth studio album, The Inherited Repression, which will hit stores on February 7th in North America and February 10th in Europe on Nuclear Blast Records.

This is a collaboration that most of the progressive metal fans have been dreaming of so many years… what would have happened if John Arch had never left Fates Warning? What if… Well… no more asking about it… ‘cuz we know how it is like now.
