Focus - Focus 11

Focus have been around for a loooong time. And while they enjoyed a solid decade from the late 60s to the late 70s after that period – they only sporadically reunited, until resuming typically in 2002 and since then they’ve been doing on strong ever since.

“11” is their first proper album of new material in some time, if we discard the best of, anniversary and guest efforts, the actual and spiritual sequel to 2012’s “X”.

The Windmill

Hi Erik, I’m glad to have you again on Grande Rock. “Tribus”, is an exceptional prog rock album! It has made it to the GR list with the Best Albums of 2018 again!

E: Oh, wow thank you very much!

Well, why did you take you 5 years to release a new album? What happened in the meantime?

The Windmill - Tribus

I had been looking forward to The Windmill’s new album for some time now, but the years were passing by and nothing was happening. They finally released “Tribus” 5 years after the exceptional “The Continuation”, and they proved once more that it’s better to “speak” when you have something to say than do it with no reason.
