Hecate Enthroned releases lyric video for “Erebus and Terror”

With “Embrace of the Godless Aeon”, their first record in five years, proving to be one of the best-reviewed extreme metal releases of the year to date, the UK-based symphonic blackened death metal group Hecate Enthroned have unveiled a lyric video for the album track “Erebus and Terror”, which features guest vocals by Sarah Jezebel Deva (Cradle Of Filth, Therion, Mortiis).

Ensiferum live in Tampa, FL, 2019

As Ensiferum took to the stage, to the cheers of the crowd, they were decked out in their trademark face paint and bassist Sami Hinkka was even wearing a kilt! They kicked off their set with “For Those about to Fight” off of their 2017 release “Two Paths”. Wow! Right from the start they sounded great.
 

Hecate Enthroned to release new studio album “Embrace of the Godless Aeon” on January 25th 2019

The UK-based blackened death metal group Hecate Enthroned will release “Embrace of the Godless Aeon”, their first album in five years (and their debut for new label M-Theory Audio), on January 25th, 2019.

The album – which features cover artwork by Nestor Avalos (Bloodbath, Rotting Christ, The Black Dahlia Murder), as seen above – can be pre-ordered now on CD and red splatter vinyl here. A limited-edition deluxe box set that includes exclusive purple vinyl and cassette editions of the album, a signed photo card and other collectibles is also available.

MaYaN release new music video for “Saints Don’t Die”

Symphonic death metal collective MaYaN release their new album “Dhyana” today.

The band recorded their spectacular new full-length release alongside the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the album reflects on conceptual themes of self-awareness, relinquishing our ego and self-conceited tendencies to find out who we truly are.

In celebration of the new album, MaYaN have released an official music video for their hymn, “Saints Don’t Die”.

Ensiferum Acoustic announces December 2018 European Tour

After performing several shows in Finland and recording a bonus “Live” DVD, which is available together with the recent Ensiferum album “Two Paths”, released in September 2017 by Metal Blade Records, “Ensiferum Acoustic” will present their show for the first time live in Europe.

The tour will run from December 4th through December 22nd of 2018. In addition to playing some songs that have never been played outside of Finland, “Ensiferum Acoustic” will present the acoustic version of selected songs from the Ensiferum repertoire.

Ignea releases animated video for new single “Queen Dies”

In advance of their heading out on the Female Metal Voices Tour, also featuring Butcher Babies, Kobra And The Lotus, Skarlett Riot, Asphodelia, and Martyrium across Europe, Ignea have dropped a killer new track, “Queen Dies”, and video to go with it.

The video was directed by Masha Goruliova in what marks the third time the Ukraine based oriental folk metal outfit will have co-operated with the talented director, having previously worked together on “Seytanu Akbar” and “How I Hate the Night”.
