Sweden's Death Metal overlords EVOCATION will release their fourth studio album "Illusions Of Grandeur" through Century Media Records on September 24th in Europe.

 

The new album is the band's first studio album for their new label and another proof why the five-piece band from Borås has become a leading force in the death metal scene.

 

"Illusions Of Grandeur" includes 10 tracks of supreme Swedish death metal, a perfect mélange of Stockholm rawness and Gothenburg epics. 

 

The illegitimate daughters of Lemmy and Ms Jack D, the Swedish Foxy 4, known as the Crucified Barbs, are back, as raw and in your face as ever and as edgy an’ sexy as you may remember them, if you’ve been exposed to them previously an’ then some more!
 
“Midnight Chase” is their third album, on which the barbs, deliver 11 new shots of their brand of bawdy, edgy, fatally female, rock n’ metal, that owes its dues to the Motorhead, Girlschool, The Runaways and Rock Goddess!
 

This is the third work in a decade for the Italian melodic death metalers In-Sight. Their love for the Swedish melodeath sound is more than obvious while listening to this album… as one could have easily thought they are from Sweden.
 
Following the music formula of bands like: Soilwork, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Scar Symmetry, Sonic Syndicate and so on… they do present something powerful, heavy and melo-brutal… as instead of clean male vocals they have added female ones. The album was mixed, produced and mastered by Dualized and Eddy Cavazza and the sound is very tight & heavy.
