Kirk Windstein to release debut solo album “Dream in Motion” on January 24th 2020

He’s a man VICE calls “an institution” with a voice recognized by Rolling Stone as the sound of resilience. Now, Kirk Windstein, the highly respected sludge metal pioneer and unmistakable earthmoving bellow of Crowbar, stomps forward as a solo artist for the very first time. On January 24th, 2020, Entertainment One (eOne) will proudly release “Dream in Motion”, Windstein’s singular debut and a recording that sees the Dark Lord of the Southern Riff stretch his creative wings and strengthen his indelible legacy.

When it comes to hard rock and heavy metal bands, there are all different genres and styles. But Alien Weaponry occupies a category all to themselves. Hailing from New Zealand, this three piece band is comprised of brothers Henry DeJong on drums and Lewis DeJong on vocals and guitar, as well as Ethan Trembath on bass. What makes them so unique is they are all of Maori descent and performs their songs in the Maori language, as well.

Methane release music video for new single “Thin the Herd”

Swedish metallers Methane have released a new music video and digital single for “Thin the Herd”, via Big Balls Productions.

The new Methane song shows a much more, agressive side of the band, with a a heavier, more honest thrash metal sound. “Thin the Herd” is a precurser of a new album and direction for Methane’s music.

Damn Your Eyes to release debut full-length album “Kill the Outside” on August 2nd 2019

New York-based heavy metal band Damn Your Eyes may seem new to the scene, but they are anything but green. The band - formed by former members of Harley Flanagan’s Hard-Core, We Are The Enemy and Bonesmith, plus current members of Black Water Rising - came together in 2015 and immediately hit the ground running.

Texas Hippie Coalition release music video for “Moonshine”

Texas Hippie Coalition has released a new music video today for their current single “Moonshine”. Directed by veteran director Justin Reich (Black Label Society, Every Time I Die) this is the first music video we’ve seen from the group from their latest LP “High in the Saddle” due out tomorrow.

Black Label Society releases new music video for “Bored to Tears”

Black Label Society, led by American guitar icon Zakk Wylde, has released another new music video today for their song “Bored to Tears” from their upcoming album due out this spring. Once again directed by long-time director and collaborator Justin Reich, this is the second music video we’ve seen from the rejuvenated version of “Sonic Brew - 20th Anniversary Blend 5.99 - 5.19” due out next month.

Corrosion Of Conformity announces Summer 2019 North American Headlining Tour

Corrosion Of Conformity will kick off the second leg of their North American headlining tour this July. The A Quest To Believe, A Call To The Void II Tour will commence on July 26th in Poughkeepsie, New York and run through August 25th in Providence, Rhode Island.

Support will be provided by their comrades in Crowbar, as well as Lo-Pan and Quaker City Night Hawks. Tickets go on sale this Friday at all local ticket outlets.

Entertainment One (“eOne”) has singed Denison, Texas rock band, Texas Hippie Coalition to a worldwide deal, and will release a brand new LP from the band this Spring.
 
Texas Hippie Coalition (THC) has released a new song called “Moonshine” today, which is available on all digital platforms. “Moonshine” is also available as an iTunes instant grat track, meaning fans who pre-order the new LP on iTunes will receive the track as an instant download.
