I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

One of the most amazing collection of jazz-fusion and progressive rock legends ever to assemble on one CD has happened with the new release by The Fusion Syndicate, available October 16, 2012 on Purple Pyramid Records.

Brought together by multi-instumentalist, producer Billy Sherwood (Yes, CIRCA:), who gave us the fascinating release by the Prog Collective earlier this year. Now, Billy has produced, recorded and written tracks for a new jazz-rock-fusion supergroup of musical virtuosos – The Fusion Syndicate!

One of the breakout CDs of 2012 was the debut release by David Watt Besley titled "Believe These Eyes", which made a believer out of many listeners! Now, the highly anticipated second release by David Watt Besley titled "Hopeless Romantic" is available!

Another newcomer from the US that is fond of modern rock sound and bows to bands such as: Nickleback, Buchcherry, Creed, Nickelback, Soundgarden or Staind SevenDust, Halestrom and so on. To tell you the truth… I think they would love to be the next Nickelback or Nickelback themselves. There’s so much similarity at times that you can’t help but think they are another clone of a band that made it big… no matter if they deserve it or not.

One of the break-out releases of 2012, UK electro-acoustic ensemble Auburn's "Indian Summer", has been garnering rave reviews worldwide. Featuring singer/songwriter Liz Lenten, Auburn reunited in 2011 after an almost 10-year hiatus! The group released their critically acclaimed CD "Indian Summer" on May 7, 2012 on Scarlet Records, distributed through Gonzo MultiMedia.

Described as a band that delivers “songs from the heart” by the London Evening Standard, and “Dreamy, moody and atmospheric” by Classic Rock Society, Auburn has been touring the UK in support of their new CD release.
A full track teaser for the song "The Black Corner" taken from THE CHANT’s upcoming album "A Healing Place" is now online.

"A Healing Place" is set to be released on August 14th in North America and digitally and on August 20th in Europe excluding Finland. The Digital Deluxe Edition of the album will contain 2 bonus tracks with a total of 12 minutes of additional material.

Don Van Vliet, (1941-2010) better known to his legions of fans as ‘Captain Beefheart’ was one of the most enigmatic figures in rock music. Unashamedly an artist, rather than a pop star, he forged his own idiosyncratic furrow through popular culture, producing some of the most innovative and uncompromising music ever committed to recording tape. From the age of three he painted and sculpted, and had an obsession with animals and the natural world.

Hi David… I was captivated by “City of Angels” as soon as I listened to it. It’s the purest AOR release I’ve heard in a while… and a wonderful album generally.

D: Thanks so much for that. It’s a combination of old songs I had in my library that I thought would never see the light of day to be honest. Plus, there are some covers that I’ve always wanted to do.

Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Sandi Thom, best known for her 2006 No.1 hit single "I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)", is pleased to confirm the August 27th release of her fourth studio album "Flesh and Blood". Produced by the Black Crowes’ Rich Robinson, and featuring a rare due with Buffy Sainte-Marie, the album and was recorded at 16 Tons studio, Nashville, Tennessee, making it Sandi’s fourth album following 2010’s critically acclaimed "Merchants and Thieves".

Hi Ehsan… You really did it dude! I find “Skylight” an amazing piece of work!! We’ve named it the Best Album of April on Grande Rock…

E: Thanks man. Glad you enjoy it. (i.n.: not only me but everyone that has listened to it...)

First things first. I’d like to ask you what on earth (or out of earth) inspired you so much to write this exceptional music?

Steve Thorne is an old known fellow to Grande Rock… meaning that we had the pleasure to present this debut here back in 2005 when he was making his first steps to discography. Since then Steve has released 3 more full-length works including the latest one “Crimes & Reasons”.
