Baroness to release new studio album “Gold & Grey” on June 14th 2019

Baroness will release their eagerly-awaited new album, “Gold & Grey”, on June 14th, 2019, via Abraxan Hymns.

The band has simultaneously released a video for the song “Borderlines”, which saw its live performance debut at Baroness’ tour kick off last Friday in Houston.

Sūrya announces new studio album “Solastalgia” - due out in Summer 2019

London’s post-doom metal outfit Sūrya returns with their second album this summer on Argonauta Records. With their refreshing mix of heaviness and subtle sonic landscapes, Sūrya explore the depths of music and evoke a broad spectrum of emotions. Whilst the band’s debut, “Apocalypse A.D.”, was an instrumental record interspersed with samples, Sūrya’s upcoming album “Solastalgia” sees them expanding on their sound, adding spoken word and sparse vocals.

Zaum to release new studio album “Divination” on April 26th 2019

Zaum is a passage toward the dark realizations of the old world; a monolithic, doomy mantra-based meditative experience forged by bass and drums interwoven with sitar, woodwind, string, and synth textures. Based in New Brunswick, Canada, observers experience a tranquil resonance whereby the astral and physical planes can coexist and be understood from a natural perspective.
 

Spirit Adrift to release new studio album “Divided by Darkness” on May 10th 2019

Phoenix, Arizona-based Spirit Adrift will release their third full-length release, “Divided by Darkness”, through 20 Buck Spin on May 10th, 2019.

The band has unveiled the LP’s first single, released through an official video for “Hear Her”, which is now also streaming on all digital platforms.
 

Melvins announce Summer 2019 European Tour

Following their recent US tour that also included the band opening the Chris Cornell Tribute at the Forum in Los Angeles, Melvins are set to return to the UK and Europe for a run of 2019 tour dates this June and July.

Their latest “Pinkus Abortion Technician” shall soon to be available on vinyl for the first time as a double 10" set, incoming via Ipecac Recordings.
