re-release
Heaven and Hell Records will be releasing the complete recorded works from North Carolina death thrashers FALSE PROPHET on CD as part of the Lost Relics collection.
Hailing from the beautiful city of Hamburg, SHAKHTYOR are the newest members of the CYCLONE EMPIRE family and we're sure they not only fit in perfectly, but will also blow you away with their massive sound, like they did to us. Their style can be best described as a mixture of Doom, Stoner, Sludge and Post Metal played completely instrumental. Although it´s quite hard to find fitting comparisons, we can throw in names like NEUROSIS, OMEGA MASSIF, BLACK SABBATH, UFOMAMMUT or even ENTOMBED and ACID BATH!
“Misled/Deformed Beyond Belief” was ACID DEATH’s split LP w/ Spanish Death Metallers AVULSED. It was released in 1995 by the legendary Greek label MOLON LAVE records only on limited edition-red vinyl.
This was band’s first and last 12” release that period that could be described as “The Thrash/Death Days”… Back then it was really “hard-to-find” one copy of this release and the band wasn’t able to promote it due to compulsory military obligations that were a real curse for every band in Greece those years…
Originally released over three decades ago, "Invasion" marked the beginning of one hell of a career for Wichita, KS legends MANILLA ROAD. In its continuing quest to ensure that the band's brilliance remains a secret to no one, Shadow Kingdom Records has announced the reissue of "Invasion" on November 6, 2012.
Label owner Tim McGrogan comments:
In yet another display of treasure-hunting prowess, Shadow Kingdom Records has set September 11th, 2012 as the date for worldwide release of "The Time Lord" EP from 70s cult NWOBHM act PAGAN ALTAR. Consisting of remastered material from as far back as 1978, "The Time Lord" is an SKR must-buy release. The EP and other PAGAN ALTAR releases can be ordered from the Shadow Kingdom store until that date by visiting this location.
Shadow Kingdom Records owner Tim McGrogan had this to say about The Time Lord:
Portland, OR metallers STONECREEP have issued a statement regarding the cancellation of the first two dates of the Storm of the Deathmarch U.S. Tour 2012. "Due to a major family emergency, we have been forced to cancel the first two dates (Portland and Eugene) of the tour. It is with extremely heavy hearts that we do so. We are currently working on make-up dates for those shows and we apologize to anybody and everybody who was planning on coming out on June 16th & 17th. The rest of the tour will continue as planned. Thanks to all for your ongoing support. Hails".
Back in 1998, Season of Mist released French black metallers SETH’ debut, "Les Blessures de l’Ame".
The album was greeted with enthusiasm by reviewers and fans alike, as the band combined harsh but melodic Black Metal with a well thought out concept on vampirism.
Brutal, dark and surprisingly catchy, "Les Blessures de l’Ame" creates gothic atmospheres supported by intelligent keyboard textures. The album quickly gained the status of a cult classic that is hard to find as it is long sold out.
Lion Music is pleased to present a newly remastered limited edition digi-pack version of the Lars Eric Mattsson release “Obsession”.
Originally released in 1998, “Obsession” was at the time the fourth solo album from Lars Eric Mattsson seven years after his previous album “Electric Voodoo”, and just like on Lars’ previous 1995’s Astral Groove band project he was joined by singer Bjorn Lodin (Baltimoore/Hard) with whom the pair would go on to record numerous albums together over the subsequent years.
