Avatarium to release new studio album “The Fire I Long For” on November 22nd 2019

On November 22nd, 2019, doom metal wizards Avatarium return to begin another chapter of their hauntingly beautiful otherworld. Only two years after taking fans by storm with their internationally praised “Hurricanes and Halos”, the Swedes are pleased to announce the completion of their fourth full-length release, “The Fire I Long For”. This new album sees the band return to their epic doom roots, while taking inspiration from rock legends like Rainbow and Dio.

Kadavar releases live video for “You Found the Best in Me”

Berlin, Germany-based rock overlords Kadavar have released a live cut of the song “You Found the Best in Me”. The footage comes off the bonus blu-ray (see formats below) included on the band’s eagerly awaited new album, “For the Dead Travel Fast”, which includes the full set of the band’s special Berlin show earlier this years, featuring a group of friends and fellow musicians, comprised as The Cosmic Riders Of The Black Sun, performing Kadavar songs with more instruments and arrangements.

Tropical Fuck Storm share new official video for “The Happiest Guy Around”

Tropical Fuck Storm, who wrap up their North American tour with a trio of shows this week (Montreal, Boston and New York), debut “The Happiest Guy Around” video. Watch the video below.

The video is the third clip to come from the band’s recently released sophomore album, “Braindrops” (Joyful Noise Recording, order here), with the Australian outfit previously sharing videos for “Braindrops”, “Who’s My Eugene?” and “The Planet of Strawmen”.

Tombstones In Their Eyes to release new studio album “Maybe Someday” on November 15th 2019

Los Angeles’ indie psych rock outfit Tombstones In Their Eyes present the 2-track single “Open Skies”, previewing their new album “Maybe Someday”.

The b-side is an alternative version of “Dreams”, the final track off the new long-play. Tombstones create walls of sound that are simultaneously sonorous and hazy. These are cavernous, stoner lullabies that descend into post-rock soundscapes and are wrapped in dark shoegazing dreamscapes.

Sunset Eyes to release debut single “Hey Baby” on September 27th 2019

Sunset Eyes began as jam sessions with Ola Himberg (guitar) and Vegard Liverød (bass/vocals) and lots of friends. A wild André Drage appeared on drums, booked a gig and claimed they should start a band. Some jams, songs and gigs later the band figured that they were missing something. Magnus Johansen joined on Hammond, and the sounds emanating from the guys’ heads was complete.
