Icelandic classic rock trio The Vintage Caravan are about to kick off the second leg of their European tour in support of their latest studio album, “Gateways”.

The guys hit the road once again with Belgian rock outfit Black Mirrors and to celebrate, they have premiered the official video for “On the Run”. Watch the new video below.

So, to kick off with, where did the bad name DeadWitches come from?
 
Mark: I’ve always been interested in dead things! I’ve always been fascinated by death, and afraid of death. So, I like the word dead! I was trying to decide what word would go well with it. And obviously I’m big fan of Halloween and Witches. It just came to me, and I thought it sounded cool. And checked there were no other bands with the name of course!
 
 

The Vintage Caravan releases track video for the cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”

Icelandic classic rock trio The Vintage Caravan have launched their cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s classic tune “The Chain” over on YouTube.

The cover was recorded during the “Gateways” session and used as a bonus track for the release. Listen to the track below.

Dead Witches roar back from the studio on two wheels, the Chuckalumba studios, where the fabled sessions for “Dopethrone” and “Let Us Prey” by Electric Wizard were recorded and Dead Witches debut “Ouija”.

Made up of three incredibly prominent Norwegian musicians: Amund Maarud, Gard Nilssen and Lars Horntveth, who have made a name for themselves as bandleaders, solo artists and musicians in an array of projects including Jaga Jazzist, Susanne Sundfør, Todd Terje, Morudes, Bushman’s Revenge, A-ha and Gard Nilssen’s Acoustic Unity, Amgala Temple is the sound of three experienced musical forces combining to create an overwhelming clash of spontaneity and control.

Icelandic classic rock trio The Vintage Caravan released their highly-anticipated 4th studio album “Gateways” back in August and will be touring the EU and UK in support of their latest offering.

The band will be heading to UK shores on the 8th of Novemeber for their first UK date in Nottingham. The tour will see them also hitting HRH Festival, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Bristol.

Vocalist and guitarist Óskar has recorded an acoustic version of their new track “Reflections” in celebration of their mammoth EU + UK tour, which can be viewed below.

Pink Fairies to release new studio album “Resident Reptiles” on August 24th 2018

Pink Fairies, the legendary UK psychedelic anarchists, return with a fantastic new album, “Resident Reptiles”, led by founding Fairy Paul Rudolph!

Rudolph is joined by former Hawkwind bassist Alan Davey and original Motörhead drummer Lucas Fox, who not only created a killer rhythm section for the album but added a bit of sizzling biker-rock to the mix! Another Pink Fairies/Motörhead member, Larry Wallis, was with the band in spirit as they churned out an excellent version of his tune “Old Enuff to Know Better!”.
