I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

In the spirit of such classic tracks as “Master Of The Universe” and “Silver Machine”, legendary Hawkwind member Nik Turner will be releasing a new single “Fallen Angel STS-51-L” digitally on July 2, 2013 and a limited edition 7-inch vinyl (only 500 pressed) on July 14th.

Hi Amos… Second release for the band and you really took it one step further… Way to go dude!

A: Thanks man. Although not in any way difficult, quite the opposite in fact, it certainly was one of the most stressful records we’ve ever made. Simply because we felt like we had to live up to the expectations we created with our first record. And well both in public and behind the scenes it’s been a tough couple of years, so we’re really happy to have this bad boy out there working for us now!

Going on their way without any boundaries, Vindictiv is like a “new” band. 4 whole years after their second release they are back with two important additions to their line-up and a more straightforward heavy approach. Marco Sandron (Pathosray, Fairyland, ex-Eden’s Curse, ex-Jackhammer, ex-Burnin’ Dolls, ex-Broken Arrow) is the band’s new vocalist and in all honesty he did manage to fill Goran Edman’s shoes intensely. The other new member is the drummer Henrik Hedman (Celestial Decay, ex-Last Kingdom).

Hi Andreas… Please tell us how did you come up with the idea to form the music-project Nergard?

A: Well, the idea has been there since I was 13-14 years old. I’ve always imagined playing with my heroes, the once that inspired me to start out with music. It was not until I was 21 that I actually decided to try making an album with all this guys.
