Eden’s Curse are delighted to announce their headline Testament UK Tour in April 2019, in support of their new “Best Of” album, which is out now on AFM Records, released on November 2nd, 2018.

Joining them on the road will be two very special guests in German Melodic Metal legends Mob Rules and up and coming Swedish Melodic Rock sensations Degreed.

Doro - Forever Warriors, Forever United

Doro, I mean, what’s not to love, in what the first lady of metal has been doing… for such a long time, she’s been a strong female lead, a pinup of posters in young metalheads rooms in the 80s and she wasn’t only eyecandy but also had the spunk to genuinely be a female rocker back in a time when women in metal were probably counted in the fingers of both hands (might be exaggerating a bit there)…

Having released a slew of anniversary, extended and live albums, it’s actually been some six years since the last “studio” effort and to make up this double album features no less than 25 songs, with the quality of compositions being a bit all over the place.

Arion to release new studio album “Life is not Beautiful” on October 19th 2018

AFM Records proudly announces the signing of Finnish melodic metal act Arion.

The band led by guitarist Iivo Kaipainen, been around since 2011, when all members (most of them students of the Sibelius musical high school in Helsinki) were still teenagers.

In 2013 Arion entered the limelight for the first time when participating in Finland's Eurovision Song Contest qualifiers with their song “Lost”. The then unknown band ended up on a sensational #5 and shortly after was offered a deal by a Finnish label.

Lizzy Borden - My Midnight Things

While Lizzy Borden were pretty active during their 80s heydey, since their “re-union” in the late 90s only a measly three new albums of material (this one inclusive) have been released. Some older out of print material has been re-released and updated from VHS to DVD in the case of the Murderess Metal Show and the “offshoot” band Starwood did also release an album, among countless medium scale tours, but that doesn’t really count as “new” material. Which is especially mysterious, considering the fact that Lizzy – the eponymous singer, born Gregory Charles Harges – had mentioned during an interview a decade back that during their time off he must have had demoed over a hundred or so songs.
