Cats In Space to release new studio album “Scarecrow” on August 25th 2017

UK AOR/Pomp Rockers Cats In Space have released a music video for “Mad Hatter's Tea Party”.

The song is taken from the band's forthcoming album “Scarecrow” - the follow up to 2015's “Too Many Gods”, due out on August 25th, 2017, and a national tour is confirmed for September. The video can be viewed below.

Raw Silk - The Borders of Light

Raw Silk is a weird case. One of the few bands that came out in the AOR/HR genre from Greece and a really good one at them, possibly only held back by a rather weak production. The band debuted in 1990 with “Silk Under the Skin” to great local commercial acclaim and has through the years achieved a bit of a cult status on the strength of that release alone.

Circle to release new studio album “Terminal” on June 23rd 2017

Circle is the very definition of genre-defying; a rare feat for any band, but effortlessly achieved by this prolific Finnish collective.

Circle's latest album “Terminal”, confirmed for release on June 23rd, 2017, through Southern Lord, is pure hedonistic pleasure.

The “Terminal” track “Kill City” can be streamed below.

Pride Of Lions - Fearless

It was like yesterday when the “classic” homonymous debut by Pride Of Lions was released. It was in 2003 that Pride Of Lions took every melodic rock/AOR lover by surprise. Apart from the amazing tracks, the specific album introduced the amazing singer Toby Hitchcock to the masses. 13 years later Toby is one of the top singers of our time and we are all thankful to Peterik for having discovered such a “golden voice”.

Pride Of Lions to release new studio album “Fearless” on January 27th 2017

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of the highly anticipated new studio album from Pride Of Lions, “Fearless” on January 27th, 2017.

When Frontiers released Pride Of Lions’ groundbreaking first album, “Pride of Lions”, in 2003, many people asked, “Is this one of those project bands that do one or two albums and then disappear - or a real band with staying power?”...

Cats In Space & Thunder vocalist Danny Bowes to release new single “How Does It Feel” on September 20th 2016

Cats In Space, are set to release a brand new single September 20th 2016 to coincide with their first UK tour this September. Dubbed the ‘Out of this World’ tour with fellow retro rockers Space Elevator, the band's new single is set to be something quite sensational to tie in with what looks set to be a stormer of a double bill.

The band is releasing their version of the classic Slade song “How Does It Feel” on 7" vinyl only complete with picture sleeve, and available in both red and white vinyl.

Magnum - Sacred Blood, Divine Lies

Like an old friend Magnum returns once more for their 19th (?) album. Having been at it, since even before most of us were born, these Brits are synonymous with quality hard rock with an extra dose of theatricality and pomp, but without being as extravagant as for instance Queen would be on occasion… but still a band of similar caliber.

Jono signs with Frontiers Music Srl

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of one of the hottest new bands in the European Melodic Rock scene, from Sweden: Jono!

The band started as a solo project of singer Johan Norrby (hence the moniker “JoNo”), who debuted with an independently released record in 2006. That was the starting point of the band who, since then, has released two very well received albums: “Requiem” (2013) and “Silence” (2015).

Cats In Space

Cats In Space, that’s a quite bizarre moniker, how on earth did you come up with that?
G: I named us after my poor departed cat ‘TC’, who passed away when we started the album... plus I wanted a name that people would either love or hate, but definitely remember... (“Marmite” as i call it!) and anyway, every band name sounds rubbish until they become famous… think Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, Queen?
