I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

Cradle of Filth has posted a brand new track, "Manticore", from the upcoming album, "The Manticore and Other Horrors", for streaming on Soundcloud.

"Manticore" is the second track to surface from the band's impending 10th studio release, which is due out on October 30th in North America via Nuclear Blast.

Erik Norlander is almost known to everyone that’s dealing with atmospheric, rock, symphonic, progressive, instrumental, keyboard-driven music. He’s the main composer for Lana Lane and he had also formed the Rocket Scientists back in the late 80s.

“The Galactic Collective” was released in 2010 when Erik decided to re-record some of his beloved instrumentals from his solo albums along with a couple of tunes from Lana Lane’s works and some from Rocket Scientists that he had written. So, some may wonder what’s new in this release.

New album for Thy Majestie after a three-year hiatus and we see the band returning with a concept album about the life of the legendary Qin Shi Huang, who became the first emperor of a unified China in 221 BC.

The soundtrack for the long expected NIGHTWISH movie “Imaginaerum” will be released on 9th November 2012.

The album features 13 grandiose, unreleased re-interpretations of “Imaginaerum” tracks by Petri Alanko.

The long-awaited Nightwish movie “Imaginaerum” will have its “flying” premiere at “Hartwall Arena”, Helsinki, Finland, on November 10, 2012, as the audience will be treated to both a full-scale Nightwish concert and the world premiere of the movie.

Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY are proud to announce the special guests of the European leg of their ASCENDING TO INFINITY CINEMATIC WORLD TOUR 2012: FREEDOM CALL and ORDEN OGAN from Germany and VEXILLUM from Italy.

Quiz of the day: what can a collaboration among a bunch of good musicians present? Say, we have Jason Hart (Renaissance etc.) on keyboards and lead vocals, John Galgano (IZZ) on bass, Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright and many others) on drums, Jack Petruzzelli (the Fab Faux, Patti Smith etc.) on guitar, plus guest appearances from Steve Hogarth (Marillion) on vocals, Paul Bremner (IZZ) on guitar, Laura Meade (IZZ, solo) on backing vocals, Max Moston (Slow Six) presumably on violin and Keren Ann (KAB, Shelby, solo)… The answer lies within five only songs, more than capable of making you feel thrilled to bits.

RHAPSODY are proud to announce that in the end of the summer/beginning of autumn, their second single "CLASH OF THE TITANS" will be released online and will be available for everyone FOR FREE!

A real gift made by the band to thank all the people, fans and journalists, who contributed to the great success and the historical chart results obtained by the new album "ASCENDING TO INFINITY" around the world.

Music legend and original YES vocalist and songwriter Jon Anderson will be playing special one-off concert on August 8th at the Sadler's Wells Theater in London.

This will be the first time Jon has performed in the UK since his successful tour with Rick Wakeman in 2010.

I will admit to be at the very least sympathetic, towards Luca Turrili, Rhapsody’s main composer and guitarist. In the past, I did a couple of interviews with him and he sounded the rather down on earth guy that had gone through health scares and was just happy to be alive. He was rather cool and animated.

Saturnian will release their new album “Dimensions” the 24th of August produced by non other than the legendary Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir, Napalm Death, Evile).

“Dimensions”, although not strictly a concept album, does have a recurring theme, and the individual concepts within each song come together under one banner.

“Dimensions” is the transformation and ‘becoming’ of a human being, the discovery of power and vision within oneself, known only to a chosen few.
