Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess recently teamed up with PledgeMusic to raise funds for the release of his upcoming solo projects. He plans to record a solo piano album, and his orchestral composition, "Explorations for Keyboard and Orchestra". Pledgers will gain access to exclusive content and experiences and PledgeMusic will keep them informed of the project’s status every step of the way.
 
“We are very proud to announce that the new RHAPSODY album will be released in June/July 2014 by Nuclear Blast. Once again it will be produced by me and it will be recorded and mixed by Sebastian Röder at the Backyard Studios of Kempten (Germany)”, states Luca Turilli
 
This May, Greek demons SEPTICFLESH will embark on a European tour with fellow label mates CARACH ANGREN, as well as FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE and DESCENDING. Wintersun have just been confirmed to play several shows in the UK and Ireland in July 2013. The Finns will rock the stages in London, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Belfast, Dublin and Bristol.

This time our beloved and so overcrowded female-fronted symphonic power metal music is coming from France. Whyzdom’s sophomore release had been in the pipeline for a while due to the singer changes. Finally, the chosen one is the beautiful Elvyne Lorient who also has a good voice. The band, of course, is the brainchild of the composer/guitarist/producer Vynce Leff.
 
Well, I’m sure that 8 years in the pipeline were more than enough for the band’s fans. The recording sessions may have started in 2007 but it was not until the summer of 2012 that the whole album was finally finished. Can you imagine what it means to write, record, mix & produce an album for almost 5 years? Surely, Jari & the other members too had the time of their life. “Time I” came to be longer than they thought it could be, so they split it in two parts… “Time I”, which is out already and “Time II”, which will be released sometime in 2013.
 
Cradle of Filth has posted a brand new track, "Manticore", from the upcoming album, "The Manticore and Other Horrors", for streaming on Soundcloud.
 
"Manticore" is the second track to surface from the band's impending 10th studio release, which is due out on October 30th in North America via Nuclear Blast.
