Swedish Thrash Maniacs WARFECT have finished the recordings for their second studio album “Exoneration Denied”.
The album will contain 10 songs of pure old-school Thrash Metal in the vein of SLAYER, DEAD HEAD and SADUS - the full tracklist can be seen below.
The artwork was created by renowned Russian artist Andrei Bouzikov (AUTOPSY, MUNICIPAL WASTE, SKELETONWITCH - www.tankcrimes.com).
“Civilization Under Threat” from Bay Area Thrash Metallers Potential Threat SF will be released June 18th through Old School Metal Records.
The album gives a nod to the old school by combining aggressive, commanding vocals with dual guitars and a thundering bottom end.
Engineered and mastered by Juan Urteaga (Machine Head, Testament, Heathen) at Trident Studios has given the album a massively heavy quality without being over-produced. Thrash ’til Death!
Were I to guess where this band comes from, I would definitely choose Scandinavia and possibly Norway. To my amazement, Csejthe are from Quebec, Canada. Obviously the guys have spent hours listening to Scandinavian black metal music and that turned out to be for their own benefit as it seems. This is the band’s sophomore release, which comes about 4 years after their debut “La Mort du Prince Noir”. Nowadays Csejthe are a three-piece band, as only, the drummer Fiel & the guitarist Strigat, who has also taken care of the vocals, have been left from the original line-up. There’s also a new guitarist, Bardunor (Crépuscule, Hiverna, Monarque), on board.
When I saw the name “Black Rose” my mind instantly thought of Thin Lizzy’s album. Obviously, this Swedish band has “baptized” themselves that album. Not bad at all. In fact, Black Rose are not new kids on the block, they have been around since 1990 and that’s a long time.
Chilean cult PENTAGRAM CHILE have completed the recording process for their debut album “The Malefice”. The album was recorded both in Sade Studios in Santiago, Chile and HVR studios in Suffolk, UK.
The album will be out around June/July and the first edition will also include re-recordings of classic 80s demo songs. Expect nothing else but a total Death/Thrash killer record the way it’s meant to be!

The beasts are back! After last year’s release of their brilliant debut record “Steel” and highly celebrated European tours together with NIGHTWISH and SONATA ARCTICA, BATTLE BEAST – Finland’s finest in heavy metal – return with new astonishing lead vocalist Noora Louhimo and their second full-length album.
Produced and mixed by the band in JKB Studios Helsinki and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios, the new record will simply be entitled “Battle Beast” and is set for a release via Nuclear Blast on May 17, 2013.
Manilla Road is a strange case. It had always been like that with this “cult” & underground band. They do have die-hard fans all over the world and especially in Greece… but they also have lots of MR-haters. This is probably to Mark’s “odd” - love it or hate it - voice. I had never been into them that much but I can’t ignore albums like “Open the Gates” that are a milestone to the epic heavy/power metal genre.
Finally, the waiting time is over: After relentless touring with W.A.S.P. in late 2012, ALPHA TIGER have confirmed more live activity for their much lauded album "Beneath The Surface"!
First up are German shows with fellow German heavy metal act ATTIC as special guest in April/May followed by several festivals during the summer time including Wacken Open Air. See below for all upcoming tour dates.

We all know that there is a lot of great music out there, in countries where people are not able to express themselves freely and live out their visions and lifestyles as they please. One of these examples is Sina with his band From The Vastland from Iran.
