Tropical Fuck Storm to release new studio album “Braindrops” on August 23rd 2019

Tropical Fuck Storm, the off-kilter, avant-psych Australian outfit, release their sophomore album, “Braindrops”, on August 23rd, 2019, via Joyful Noise Recordings.

“I’ve invented fake news as a genre of music”, TFS singer/songwriter Gareth Liddiard states on the new album. “Braindrops” overflows with compelling sounds and visions that reflect the often dark and fractured reality of life on planet Earth as we hurtle toward environmental and social decay at a frighteningly rapid clip.

Cherubs to release new studio album “Immaculada High” on July 26th 2019

Rightfully hailed as “the noisiest pop music on the planet” by Pitchfork, Texas-based cult noise rock trio Cherubs have been purveyors of sonic bedlam since their inception in 1991.

After an unforeseen return to the scene from a two-decade hiatus in 2014, the Cherubs have now joined forces with the equally revered Relapse Records for the release of their fifth full-length “Immaculada High”.

Russian Circles to release new studio album “Blood Year” on August 2nd 2019

Russian Circles named their 2016 album “Guidance” in reference to the uncertainty of the future. It was a fitting title for the times, with the album coming out a few months before America’s tumultuous presidential election, but it was intended more as a reference to the band’s own absence of a blueprint as they navigated their second decade as a band than as a social commentary.

Clocking in at nearly ten minutes, the slow burning track is commandeered by pinprick drum fills, swaths of reverb-cloaked riffing, and, of course, Robin Wattie’s signature siren song vocals.

Watch the music video for “Holding Pattern”, the latest single from Big|Brave’s forthcoming album, below..
