Ministry release visualiser for “We’re Tired of It”

Industrial-metal legends Ministry will continue to support their critically acclaimed album “AmeriKKKant” with a full U.S. tour later this November, supported by synth-wave sensations Carpenter Brut.

In anticipation of the trek the band has released a visualiser for the track “We’re Tired of It” - watch it below.

Holygram to release debut full-length album “Modern Cults” on November 9th 2018

German post-punk shoegaze outfit Holygram has announced their long-awaited debut LP “Modern Cults”.

Comprised of eleven tracks, “Modern Cults” will be released on CD and double vinyl, as well as digitally via Cleopatra Records, on November 9th, 2018.

This is the first major release for the Cologne-based outfit since their 2016 self-titled EP. Here, the collective blend new wave and Krautrock with post-punk and shoegaze to achieve headstrong multi-layered bliss. This is a thoroughly contemporary homage to the sound of the 80s with a resolute look to the future - the result is driving, dark and catchy.

Johnny Wore Black release music video for “Southern Storm”

UK rockers Johnny Wore Black feat. David Ellefson (Megadeth) on bass guitar have released a new music video for “Southern Storm”, the track is taken from their third full-lenght album “Ultra Violent Light”, which was released in June 2018 via EMP Label Group.

The album was produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Stone Sour, Dream Theater) & Gez Walton (Earthtone9), mastered by Joao Carvalho & Bryan Lowe. Album artwork was designed by Andy Pilkington (Soil, Flotsam & Jetsam, Fury, Kissin’ Dynamite, Bloodstock Festival).

Healthy Junkies to release new studio album “Delirious Dream” on October 12th 2018

UK punk/grunge rock band, Healthy Junkies, have announced the release of their fourth album “Delirious Dream”, in stores on October 12th, 2018, via Banana Castle Records/Cargo Records UK.

The album was recorded at Bark Studios by Brian O’Shaughnessy, who recorded Primal Scream and My Blood Valentine at the very same studio in the 90s. It was mastered by Pete Maher whose recent projects have included The Pixies, The Rolling Stones and Jack White.

The Pull Of Autumn to release debut self-titled album on August 24th 2018

The Pull Of Autumn has announced the forthcoming release of their debut self-titled album via Boston-based RBM Records.

Ahead of this release, which includes 10 tracks, they are previewing “Laurasong”, the lead track from this album. Listen to the track below. 

The Pull Of Autumn, a ‘super group’ of sorts, is comprised of members of pioneering 1970-80s British new wave band Fashion, Rhode Island’s Johanna’s House of Glamour, and Fred Abong, founding member of Belly with Tanya Donelly and early member of Throwing Muses with Kristin Hersh and Donelly.

The Damned announces Fall 2018 US Tour

British punk rock icons, The Damned announce their first full U.S. tour since the release of their critically acclaimed “Evil Spirits”, Tony Visconti produced album (and their first full length LP in 10 years).

The LP recently became their first ever UK Top 10 album in their 41-year career, heading straight into the charts at #7. In the US, it had the biggest week ever on Soundscan for its week of release, coming in at #4 on the Heatseeker chart, as well as #24 Rock and #40 Vinyl.

What, already? Fresh on the heels of the January 2018 release of “Amoretum Vol. 1”, German Riffonauts Black Space Riders are set to return with its follow-up, “Amoretum Vol. 2”.
 
The songs on “Amoretum Vol. 1 & Vol. 2” were all written over a three-month period, and subsequently recorded and produced in a single rush of creativity. The band decided to release the more than two hours of music that came from their mid-2017 writing session in two different parts. As Black Space Riders' 6th album, “Amoretum Vol. 2” is a continuation - a second book - but it also exists as a completely autonomous work.
