“Rewind Scotland – The 80s Festival” in Perth, Scotland is back for its third year running. The festival will take place from Friday 26th July until Sunday 28th July at Scone Palace, Perthshire, Scotland.
 
As with the past two unforgettable Rewind Scotland festivals, this year’s Rewind promises to provide an even bigger bang with the crème de la crème of classic 80’s pop music performing. The celebrations will consist of non-stop music on the main stage from the biggest names of the decade and plenty of audience participation and dressing up.
DBA or else Downes Braide Assosiation. Yeap, you’ve got it right. This is a musical collaboration between the famous Geoff Downes and the renowned Chris Braide. Both of them have been very successful in business throughout the years and they have sold millions of albums. Geoff is best known from his works with The Buggles, Asia & Yes, while Chris is more known as a multi-instrumentalist/producer and has cooperated with Sia, Lana Del Rey, Christina Aguilera, Yuna and David Guetta amongst many others.
 
Fort Worth-based duo, PINKISH BLACK, has finished recording their upcoming album and Century Media debut, set tentatively for a Spring release. Self-produced by PINKISH BLACK's own Jon Teague and Daron Beck, this currently untitled full-length was recorded at The Echo Lab with Matt Barnhart handling engineer duties. Mastering will be done by James Plotkin.
 
Hugh Cornwell’s new album "TOTEM AND TABOO" will be released in the UK on Monday 10th September 2012 through Cadiz Music. Recorded at Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, the album was engineered and mixed by Steve Albini (Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Pixies).

Hugh Cornwell is pleased to confirm a nationwide UK tour in October 2012. The concerts will be divided into two sets. The first will feature his eagerly anticipated new studio album "TOTEM AND TABOO" (out in August 2012). The second set will see Hugh playing The Strangler's seminal 1977 second album "NO MORE HEROES" in its entirety with keyboards added to the lineup.
