Destruction announces new guitarist Damir Eskic

Today, German thrash-legends Destruction are proud to welcome Damir Eskic as their second guitarist alongside Mike. Damir is a Swiss guitar player with Bosnian decent and works as a guitar teacher, himself being a former pupil of Tommy Vetterli (Coroner).

He also plays in a Heavy Metal band called Gomorra and already contributed to 3 solos of Destruction’s 2016 album “Under Attack”.

The band prepared a short video clip, in which they properly introduce their new member. Watch the video below.

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals announce new bass player Derek Engemann

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals are pleased to welcome former Cattle Decapitation bassist/current Scour guitarist Derek Engemann to the lineup.

Engemann, who takes the place of bass comrade Walter Howard (Grieved, Oppressive Force, Vaginal Bear Trap etc.), will make his live debut with The Illegals beginning next week on the band’s Latin American tour where the band will be performing Illegals tracks alongside a selection of Pantera hits.
 

AntropomorphiA announces new studio album “Merciless Savagery” - due out in Spring 2019

Unholy Dutch Death Metallers AntropomorphiA are currently busy in the studio recording their next lonplayer “Merciless Savagery”.

The album is being recorded at Aftermath studios and will be produced by drummer Marco Stubbe. Mastering duties will be handed over to infamous Dan Swanö in December for a tentative release in Spring of 2019!

Amulet announces new singer Federico “Mace” Mazza

London metal bruisers Amulet announce the addition of talented new permanent singer Federico “Mace” Mazza and finish writing second album.

Mace joined in early Summer following a successful show supporting Cirith Ungol and Angel Witch at The Underworld in Camden in May 2018.

Since that show the new line-up have been working hard with Mace to finish writing their long-gestating second album. The band are excited about the addition of his powerful pipes and confident about the 12 heavy new songs they are preparing.
 

Fifth Angel rejoined by guitarist Ed Archer

Fifth Angel recently put the finishing touches on their first new album in almost 30 years, “The Third Secret”, which will be released on October 26th, 2018, through Nuclear Blast Records.

But before their fans can put their gands on the new record, there's more news to announce from the band's camp.

Guitarist Ed Archer, who has already been a part of the band in the past (1983–1989, 2010, 2017), rejoins the group as a permanent member and completes the quartet from now.
