Korpiklaani releases lyric video for digital single “Bier Bier”

Finnish Folk Metal Superstars Korpiklaani are currently touring Europe alongside Turisas and Trollfest in support of their latest studio album “Kulkija”.

To celebrate, the band released a special tour edition, which includes the “Beer Beer” CD, featuring 14 different versions of the eponymous track.

Taken from this CD is also “Bier Bier”, sung by Tankard’s Gerre, who even wrote the lyrics for the adaption. Watch the lyric video for the German “Beer Beer” version below.

Korpiklaani releases lyric video for “Kaljaa”

Finnish Folk Metal Superstars Korpiklaani are about to kick off an extensive run of dates that will see them travelling across the globe throughout 2019. Kicking off with an 8 date Finnish tour on which they’ll be joined on stage by a brass section from Lahti Sinfonia and with support from Waltari, Trollfest and Profane Omen, the band will then hit the road across Europe alongside Turisas and Trollfest.

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals announce new bass player Derek Engemann

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals are pleased to welcome former Cattle Decapitation bassist/current Scour guitarist Derek Engemann to the lineup.

Engemann, who takes the place of bass comrade Walter Howard (Grieved, Oppressive Force, Vaginal Bear Trap etc.), will make his live debut with The Illegals beginning next week on the band’s Latin American tour where the band will be performing Illegals tracks alongside a selection of Pantera hits.
 

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals announce Latin America, Australia and New Zealand Live Shows for 2019

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals will spend much of 2019 road bound beginning with a handful of Latin American dates in January and February.

The following month, the band will make their way to Australia and New Zealand for the Thrash Blast Grind tour with Australian grind unit and Housecore Records labelmates King Parrot.

Idles announce Spring 2019 UK, European & US Headlining Tour

After a wrapping up sell-out UK and US tours, Idles have confirmed a 2019 world tour, headlining their biggest venues yet.

The run will include two London headliners at The Electric Ballroom and their first ever run of dates in Australia.

Alien Weaponry premiere brutal new video for “Kai Tangata”

“In 1820, the great Northern War Chief Hongi Hika departed New Zealand for England. On his return, he brought with him the word of God and hundreds of muskets. Things would never be the same again…”

… so begins the video for Alien Weaponry’s new single, “Kai Tangata”.

The title literally translates to “Eat People”; and refers to the ancient Māori tradition of eating the flesh of their enemies after battle in order to insult them. It is also an ancient term for a war party.

Alien Weaponry to release debut album “Tū” on June 1st 2018

Three teenagers, known as Alien Weaponry, from a tiny town in the small South Pacific nation of New Zealand have managed to capture the imaginations of people all over the world with their unique thrash metal sound and commanding live performances. This in itself is surprising, but perhaps the most unexpected element of all in their success is that many of the band's songs are delivered in a language that is unknown to international audiences – New Zealand's native language, Te Reo Māori.
