I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

Giuntini Project, or else the brainchild of the Italian guitarist/composer Aldo Giuntini, is possibly the closest thing to Rainbow (Dio era), Black Sabbath (Dio/Martin era), Dio, Malmsteen that one can stumble upon when searching for quality hard & heavy music with the musical standards that the above titans defined. A well-crafted blending of the aforementioned bands will give you a good hint of what Giuntini Project is all about, just in case you never heard of it.

My Graveyard Productions inked a deal with Canadian band Cromlech to release the debut album “Ave Mortis”.

The band presents a dark gloomy epic/doom sound; founded in Toronto, Canada in 2011, Cromlech is the antithesis to all that is trivial and banal in Heavy Metal.

Thunderous drumming, extended dual guitar melodies and songcrafting on a truly epic scale sets Cromlech apart in a genre plagued by generic rock clichés and fashion conscious trendsters.“Ave Mortis” – Hail Death!

It was inevitable to happen. Sooner or later… or more precisely with every new album they were getting closer… to what they finally became! Why? What the hell happened to this band over the years? Was the HIM influence so significant to their musical evolution? Really?! How did a band that had some very good potential manage to be another gay gothic rock act that’s trying to pander to HIM’s fame & fortune?!!

Disinterred British extreme metal legends CARCASS have been confirmed to team up with AMON AMARTH on their upcoming European run.

The DVD/Blu Ray features the band's sold out homecoming show in Oberhausen, Germany on December 22, 2012 after an extensive 45 days European tour in support of their highly successful album “Phantom Antichrist”.

There are two ways to approach releases like this one. You’re either a metalhead and you are into this “trip” or you’re not and you can’t get what’s all about so you end up making fun of something that you cannot understand. Italy & Greece have retained a strong underground “epic heavy metal” scene and they keep supporting it no matter if there are 10, 100 or 1000 people around. That’s its beauty in spite of everything… to support what you fancy without giving a tinker’s cuss about other opinions.
