King Diamond announces new album “The Institute” and November & December 2019 North American Tour

After introducing a new live show, as well as music, at festivals across Europe this summer, King Diamond is now ready to officially reveal the title and theme for the first studio album in 12 years: “The Institute”!

Fans can expect the debut single to arrive this fall and an album in 2020; in the meantime, a tour teaser with a sneak peak of the new stage set can be viewed below.

Dimmu Borgir and Amorphis announce Winter 2020 European co-headlining tour

The year 2020 is set to start with a roll of thunder! Today, Norwegian black metal force Dimmu Borgir and Finnish melodic prog metallers Amorphis announce a co-headline tour that no metal fan should miss. On January 22nd, this killer line-up will hit London’s Kentish Town Forum, as part of a wider European run. Throughout January and February 2020, the unholy Scandinavian alliance will haunt 10 European cities and also bring American post black metallers Wolves In The Throne Room along as support.

Testament announces February & March 2020 European & UK Tour with Exodus and Death Angel

2020 is set to be an unforgettable year for British and European thrash metal-heads - three legendary pioneers of the genre have announced that they will be touring throughout next spring. Hitting the road will be no other than the Bay Area’s very own Testament, Exodus and Death Angel – who have all teamed up to bring the catchily dubbed “The Bay Strikes Back” tour to our shores!

In anticipation of their new studio album “Garden of Storms” - which is due for release on October 4th, 2019, via Agonia Records - Sweden’s melodic, progressive death/doom metal masters In Mourning, premiere the first single titled “Black Storm”.

When Paradise Lost guitarist Greg Mackintosh put to rest his Vallenfyre side project in 2018, he closed a difficult, but an ultimately cathartic period in his life. Created as a tribute to his father John, who passed away in 2009, Vallenfyre originally served as a sounding board for Greg’s grief, but then delved into his nihilistic take on the world.

Doro release music video for “Freunde Fürs Leben”

After a raft of successful summer festival performances this year, Doro is preparing to continue her Forever Warriors - Forever United World Tour in a few weeks.

Kicking off the next leg of the tour in Russia and the USA, the band will then be traveling back to Europe for gigs in Germany, UK, Switzerland, Netherlands and Luxemburg.

Killswitch Engage release new music video for “The Signal Fire”

Grammy-nominated and Gold-selling metal heavyweights Killswitch Engage have just released the video for new song “The Signal Fire” from their latest album “Atonement”, released last Friday by Music For Nations. Current and former KsE singers Jesse Leach and Howard Jones trade vocals in this simple but electrifying performance clip.

Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2019 - Day 1

Since 2015, Bloodstock has grown incapacity, and this year’s event had its fair share of controversies. The most high-profile being the inevitable booking of their first metalcore headliner, Parkway Drive, at the expense of many enraged ‘true metal’ fans, as well as numerous band drop-outs beyond the organizer’s control, including the likes of Skeletonwitch, Code Orange and Dimmu Borgir (who they cancelled a day before their show).
