Legendary vocalist Jon Anderson, YES’s singer/songwriter for 35 years along with his successful work with Vangelis, Kitaro, and Milton Nascimento, will be performing at the 9th Festival Des Guitares Du Monde in Quebec, Canada on May 25, 2013. The show promises to deliver an exciting mixture of material from Jon Anderson's prolific solo career, collaborations with Vangelis and classic YES songs, along with new compositions, highlighted by humorous and enlightening stories told by Jon.
 
Firewind, Greece's leading metal band spearheaded by guitar-wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band member Gus G., will be releasing a new live album entitled "Apotheosis - Live 2012" on June 24th, 2013 via Century Media Records in Europe, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the band in style. 
 
The cover artwork for "Apotheosis - Live 2012", which will be released as Digipak in its first limited edition pressing, can be viewed above. It was designed by FIREWIND's longtime partner in all design matters, Gustavo Sazes / abstrata.net (Arch Enemy, Angra, Dream Evil, etc.) based on live photography by Hans-W. Rock.

On March 12, 2013 Swedish melodic metal act Soilwork will kick-off its world tour in North America, marking the band's first time headlining in this territory in almost three years. The extensive trek through the U.S. and Canada, "North American Infinity Tour 2013", will feature support from Jeff Loomis, Blackguard, The Browning, and Wretched. “An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House” will be released on 2-CD, 2-LP, 2-DVD, Blu-ray by Provogue Records (a division of the Mascot Label Group) in the UK on Monday 25th March 2013.
 
The concert was recorded at the historic Vienna Opera House July 2012 during a very special two-week long unplugged tour, played to a limited audience over seven exclusive European shows. Varying from Bonamassa’s predominantly electric blues shows, this presentation was an all-acoustic concert performance, making it a unique and very special show fans had been waiting years to experience.
