Steve Hackett to release new studio album “At the Edge of Light” on January 25th 2019

Following the tremendous success of 2017’s “The Night Siren” (charted at #22 in Germany, #28 in the UK), legendary former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett announces the release of his new studio album “At the Edge of Light” on January 25th, 2019.

The album which features ten songs, sees Steve unite a vast amount of styles ranging from guitar driven rock to epic orchestration, from world music to the reflective and atmospheric all brought together in Steve Hackett’s unique style.

Made up of three incredibly prominent Norwegian musicians: Amund Maarud, Gard Nilssen and Lars Horntveth, who have made a name for themselves as bandleaders, solo artists and musicians in an array of projects including Jaga Jazzist, Susanne Sundfør, Todd Terje, Morudes, Bushman’s Revenge, A-ha and Gard Nilssen’s Acoustic Unity, Amgala Temple is the sound of three experienced musical forces combining to create an overwhelming clash of spontaneity and control.

Dissonant Distance announces November 2018 European Tour

Improvisational progressive metal group Dissonant Distance have announced 5 new dates in November, as part of their campaign leading up to the release of their self-titled debut album on November 16th, 2018, via Sliptrick Records.

The band’s music can be described as spontaneous, free and in the moment, encompassing elements of progressive rock, jazz, fusion, blues and Indian music. It’s improvised music fused with the spirit of punk and jazz.

Soft Machine to release new studio album “Hidden Details” on September 8th 2018

In support of their forthcoming new album, British music legends Soft Machine will embark on their first North American tour since 1974 in October 2018, followed by the second North-American leg of the tour in January/February 2019.

In concert, their set list will include material from all parts of the band's repertoire from 1970 onwards, but this is emphatically not a nostalgia act resting on its laurels. Last weekend Soft Machine played their first two shows in North America since 1974 (it was in 1974 they toured USA and Canada during the Bundles/Allan Holdsworth era). Both shows, at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Quebec City, were exceptionally well received by the enthusiastic audience and local press.

Aisles to release new EP “Live from Estudio Del Sur” on July 6th 2018

Acclaimed Chilean prog rockers Aisles have released their final in-studio video, for their track “Club Hawaii”.

Dusan Jevtovic - Live at Home

Less than a year after the release of the studio album “No Answer”, Dusan Jevtovic returns with a new live release, this time under the title “Live at Home”. As you can see by its title this album was recorded live at Decije Pozoriste, Kragujevac, Serbia, on December 23rd, 2016. It was actually recorded at Dusan’s homeland. Dusan had the luck to have on stage, the renowned Serbian keyboard player Vasil Hadzimanov (he has also participated in “No Answer”) along with the bass player Pera Krstajic and drummer Pedja Milutonovic by his side.
