Kaotoxin Records will release "Hand of Glory" from French instrumental doom act THE LUMBERJACK FEEDBACK on July 2nd in France and August 6th in the UK and U.S. 

 

I am not very sure, but from what I’ve gathered, Holz is actually a one-man’s-band and that man is called Harry Holzhauer. The album “Shizu” is a collection of experimental basically guitar based post-rock songs.
 

Guitarist Joe Satriani has launched a video for his new single “A Door Into Summer” taken from his new 2013 album “Unstoppable Momentum”.  

 

The video features exclusive footage from the famed Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, California, where Joe recorded the new album with Mike Keneally, Vinnie Colaiuta and Chris Chaney.

 

The video is directed by Jon Luini and Arthur Rosato for Chime Interactive.

The album was recorded at Skywalker Sound in San Francisco and was produced by Satriani and Mike Fraser (AC/DC).

 

The new album features an amazing array of talented players including: Vinnie Colauita (Sting, Jeff Beck) on drums, Chris Chaney (Janes Addiction) on bass and Mike Keneally (Dethklok) on keyboards.

Following the March 25th release of Joe Bonamassa’s live album and DVD, “An Acoustic Evening At The Vienna Opera House”, the internationally renowned guitarist will embark on 7-date UK arena tour during September 2013.
