Sometimes it’s better to go on, evolve and burn bridges with the past in order to make it and present the new - renewed - you. That’s the case here with Icarus Witch. They had to make a choice for their future… and they did choose right. The new vocalist Christopher Shaner, the new 2nd guitarist & producer Dave Watson (Grave Desire, ex-Mantic Ritual) & the new drummer Tom Wierzbicky (Thunderfist), brought euphoria to the band’s ranks and updated the sound & the songwriting for the better.

Consisting of remastered material from as far back as 1978, "The Time Lord" is an SKR must-buy release. Historically speaking England could be considered the birthplace of heavy metal with the likes of Black Sabbath forging a new path for heavy music. But during the 1980’s the thrash metal movement stronghold was America and UK bands like D.A.M. (alongside Xentrix, Deathwish and Onslaught) fought tooth and nail to make their impact heard from across the Atlantic. Knowingly an uphill battle, D.A.M. managed to release two impressive albums (1989’s "Human Wreckage" and 1991’s "Inside Out") during their initial years.

Due out August 27th in Europe and August 28th in North America via InsideOut Music, "Moments" was mixed and mastered by Acle Kahney (TESSERACT guitarist and producer), who worked closely with the band on the sounds and textures of the album, developing it into a dynamic and immense listening experience.

“Lights Out” can be described as an atmospheric and gloomy album with a melancholic undertone, even though some of the songs are more aggressive and with progressive elements. Lyrically Posthum draws inspiration from nature, dreams and nightmares, the material and commercial world and the human nature.
