I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

Zarthas, the electrorockers from Oulu, Finland are back with their second album entitled “Spit/Ignite”. The album will be released via Violent Journey Records on June 7th 2013.

Saffire is a swedish rock/metal band that took shape in 2006 and made a name for themselves as a powerful live band pretty quickly. After the release of three demos it was time to make a full length album; its name is “From Ashes to Fire”.

Hey Per… How’s it going? The first leg of the tour is over. What has the fans’ response to the new album been so far?

P: Hello there, all good here and so far so good I’d say. It was really cool to go out on a little tour again with Beggars and we’ve had lots of positive feedback on the new album.

What did you want to attain with “Earth Blues”? What did you have in mind when you started composing songs?

“Like an Addiction” is the first album by italian hard rock/sleaze metal band Sandness. 1 or 2 minutes after I pushed play I had to check the date the album was released. Let’s just say that if it had come out in 1985 it may have been a good record.

It’s not unlikely to happen upon a 70s “influenced” rock band these days… I would probably say that is more likely than it used to be in the past two decades. Certainly, none can blame these Swedish rockers for following a trend cuz’ when they started this band back in 1992, no one could have thought what it was going to be in the late 00s. So, the guys are back after 3 years and Apollo seems to have perfectly fitted the band’s philosophy no matter what.

Hey guys… A dream comes true dude, right?! Your debut album is finally out after a long period. How do you feel now that your first goal has been accomplished? We named it the Best Album of April on Grande Rock!

S: It’s great that the fans can finally own a piece of Summers. We’re incredibly proud of the album and just glad to have it out there.

Do tell us what has happened since 2007 that Summers started out till today. Why did it take it you so long to release your debut and what were the drawbacks that you faced as band?

KAMIKAZE TEST PILOTS have just released a video for the track “Dinosaur”, taken from their self titled debut album. Directed by Matt Joiner at Spatial Awareness, you can check it out below.

Having made a mark on the scene and receiving great reviews for their debut full-length released late 2012, this is the band’s first video from the album. Politically charged, and opening with part of a speech from Robert Mugabe (President of Zimbabwe, where half the band are from), the track tells a story of rising up against brutal dictatorship.

Minnealopis based rock/metalers Semeron released their newest album entitled “Breathing Scarlet”.

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of KING KOBRA’s new studio album “II” on July 5th in Europe and July 9th in North America.

King Kobra’s long-awaited reunion album “King Kobra” (s/t) released on Frontiers Records in 2011, left no doubt that this was a band to be reckoned with. Even though nearly 25 years had passed since the original line-up recorded the landmark “Ready To Strike” and “Thrill Of A Lifetime” albums, the energy and immediacy of the bands lightning attack had not diminished one iota and fans responded in kind.
