Voyager announces September 2019 UK Tour

If there is one word to describe Voyager’s most current form, it is colourful. Voyager have truly come into their own in recent years, crafting a path of success both on and off stage. Most recent performances include an almost sold out headline tour across Australia, opening main stage Download Festival Australia, and a national Australian tour with Twelve Foot Ninja.

Voyager have now announced a short trip to the Northern Hemisphere in September 2019 to get heads turning in preparation for their forthcoming album.

Spread Eagle - Subway to the Stars

Spread Eagle are an edgy streetwise band from NY (actually moved there). They signed on to MCA and released a couple of albums, but coming out at the tail end of the 80s and debuting in the 90s, meant that they got caught in the whole “grunge” craze and they took a break in 1995, after touring their second album, a break that extended over a decade with the band part reuniting in 2006 and remaining active since, but with only singer Ray West and bassist Rob De Luca, from the original line up.

Skid Row live in Athens 2019

Without a support band to get things going, despite an initial announcement that there would be (opening act-s), Skid Row came on stage at around 22.30 after a taped intro of the Ramone’s “Blitzkrieg Bop” had finished playing. Inside people were so tightly packed together that even attempting to go for a drink or to the restroom, would prove to be a monumental task. Either a larger venue or a few less tickets might have solved that.

The New Roses release new single “Can’t Stop Rock & Roll”

You can’t stop Rock & Roll – a simple yet effective message, especially in modern society. And The New Roses keep proving that Rock & Roll isn’t dead to every single one of us, over and over again. Their newest single fits perfectly into their existing repertoire. Rhythmic guitar riffs and Timmy’s rough voice, that reminds the listener of a mix of outstanding vocalists like Axl Rose and Ronny Van Zant, complete the journey with a modern finish.
