Fury UK announce the first leg of their 2012 tour dates for UK & Europe, including 9 European shows with legendary former UFO & Scorpions lead guitarist Michael Schenker. This first leg of the 2012 tour dates begins the promotion for Fury UK’s new DVD "Death By Lightning" which is released on 2nd April & named after the band’s epic fan-favourite set-closer. There's also a fan special pre-order package to be available direct from www.furyuk.com as a limited edition from 6th February.

As previously announced, the long awaited new album of US doom legends SAINT VITUS is entitled "Lillie: F-65" and will hit the stores this spring. We are sorry to announce that, due to manufacturing issues, the North American release date will be announced later. The album has been tentatively scheduled for April 13th in the rest of the world.
In the meantime, the band will release a 7" single for the song "Blessed Night", a number from "Lillie: F-65". The B-side is a live version of classic VITUS tune "Look Behind You", recorded in December 2010 at Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland.

German hard rockers HARD RIOT have signed to Pitch Black Records and the band’s debut album, “Living on a Fast Lane”, is due for release on April 10th, 2012.
HARD RIOT were formed in 2006 in the city of Heilbronn, Germany and the band consists of four young friends who share the same passion – hard rockin’ music.
These guys from Brooklyn were one of the first bands that mixed the metal sound with punk attitude (and style) along with some hip-hop influences. The band’s hardcore music with heavy/thrash elements was quite influenced by Anthrax’s renowned song “I'm the Man” (1987)… which, by the way, influenced all the bands that started mixing rap music with metal right after. That was probably a bad joke from Anthrax… but its impact caused many problems and created much trash music.

What happened all those years and Wrathchild was inactive? I know that you had some legal issues with the band’s name in the mid-00s and you had formed Psychowrath… but all those years before the mid-00s? Why did you disappear after the release of your third album in 1989?
GUN BARREL dont breathe new life into the great tradition of heavy metal, they inject it with high pressure. These guys combine old school, misfit rock n roll and metal attitude in an ingenious way. Being the representatives of this dirty metal rock 'n' roll, they really let it rip during their legendary live performances.
You can feel the animal instinct and the heart and soul that make the band skyrocket on stage. If nothing else, this might be due to the fact that GUN BARREL are among the most frequent performers in Germany. Those, who survived the GUN BARREL live drumfire are totally thrilled and become serial offenders. This is unavoidable.
HolyHell will celebrate their long awaited return to Europe with a performance at the 15th anniversary edition of Gods Of Metal Italy. This will be the band's first appearance in Italy, and their first European performance with drummer John Macaluso.
The band is currently in the studio, working on their new album, scheduled for release this summer. "We can't wait to return to Europe. It is like a second home to us and our fans are simply incredible." says Maria Breon.
After the new NIGHTWISH album "Imaginaerum" has reached gold status in Germany, Greece and Finland (multi platinum), the CD also reached the gold level in Switzerland and Slovakia. Including the fantastic sales of the new record "Imaginaerum", NIGHTWISH have now sold more than 1.000.000 albums in whole Germany.
In the US "Imaginaerum", charted at position No. 27 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, 2007's "Dark Passion Play", landed at No. 84.
