I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

Hi Martin… I’m glad that I have the chance to talk with you about Soen’s debut album. We’ve put it in the “GEMS” category on Grande Rock!

M: Hey, we’re glad for the chance given. Great! It's an honor to fit in that category.

I’d like to start with the band’s background. Soen was formed back in 2005, by Martin & Kim but it started giving some signs of life after 5 years. What happened all these years? Did you work over some music or you just waited for the other 2 members to fill in the gaps?

“Help! For Japan” is an EP released by the German label Avenue OF Allies in order to help the victims of the Japanese earthquake by donating all the incomes to the Japanese Red Cross. What a brilliant act for help… and no other song than “Help!” from The Beatles would have been more appropriate.

Storm Corrosion is the long-discussed and highly anticipated collaboration between Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth and Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson.

A spiritual successor to both "Heritage" and "Grace For Drowning", Storm Corrosion takes an idiosyncratic musical path that operates in Wyrd Folk and ambitious singer-songwriter territories

The duo's debut surprises as much as it does confirm Wilson's and Akerfeldt's pre-eminence in the field of contemporary Progressive music.

Swedish guitarist ROB PARIS has launched an inspirational book for guitarists around the world. ROB PARIS is mostly known for his guitar-work and song-writing in the Swedish band DANGER.

The book "GUITAR TRIGGER" comes as an E-book and can be easily downloaded FOR FREE through:

The End Records is proud to announce its SXSW 2012 Showcase with iconic punk headliners FEAR performing their 1982 classic album "The Record."  The showcase will also mark the first US dates for both psychedelic/progressive rock band Spirits of the Dead (Norway) and power/pop metal band Amoral (Finland). Showcasing post-punk NYC residents Freshkills will be celebrating their 3/13 release, "Raise Up The Sheets," and Brooklyn metal favorites HULL also take a break from their tour with East of the Wall to perform the show.

When you leave your business unfinished then you will surely come back to close all the open matters one day. Something like this must have happened with Dark New Day… the band that took shape in 2005… released its debut album in 2005… and since then they faced several difficulties with line-up changes and their label… resulting in putting the band on ice for some years. There has also been some fuzz with the band’s second album that was never officially released… as both “Hail Mary” (this album was all over the web as “Vicious Thinking” for some time) & “B-sides” were released digitally on iTunes and Amazon and they are not available these days.
