We all have some preferences to certain music styles & to a few bands that represent them. I can say that Lacrimosa is one of those bands that I revel in throughout the years. Their wonderful blending of dark, gothic, rock, metal, symphonic, neoclassical, dark wave, atmospheric music is something that does not leave you with any other alternative but to adore it.
Cradle of Filth has posted a brand new track, "Manticore", from the upcoming album, "The Manticore and Other Horrors", for streaming on Soundcloud.
"Manticore" is the second track to surface from the band's impending 10th studio release, which is due out on October 30th in North America via Nuclear Blast.
Having gone through some major line-up changes before they recorded and released their third work… this Portugese band parted ways with its previous vocalist due to musical differences and the new guy who took over is Leonel Silva that also brought a breeze of freshness to the group. With the addition of the drummer Joao Colaco (ex-More Than A Thousand) & the (live) guitarist Sergio Faria (he also contributed a couple of solos in the CD) they were more than ready to go on.
Dan Zukovic's "DARK ARC", a bizarre gothic modern noir dark comedy called "Absolutely brilliant... truly and completely different..." in Film Threat, was recently released on DVD and Netflix through Vanguard Cinema, and is currently debuting on Cable Video On Demand.
The soundtrack for the long expected NIGHTWISH movie “Imaginaerum” will be released on 9th November 2012.
The album features 13 grandiose, unreleased re-interpretations of “Imaginaerum” tracks by Petri Alanko.
The long-awaited Nightwish movie “Imaginaerum” will have its “flying” premiere at “Hartwall Arena”, Helsinki, Finland, on November 10, 2012, as the audience will be treated to both a full-scale Nightwish concert and the world premiere of the movie.

So, what’s the story behind The Fallacy? Did it start as a project that turned out to be a band… or you set off as a band that was completed as long as Angeline came onboard, right after Viviana left the band?

Mass-producing symphonic metal, Sweden presented The Murder of My Sweet, founded by Daniel Flores - both drummer and producer, in 2006. Their debut album, “Divanity”, was released in 2010 and it was an instant success in their own country. The rest of the team is: Angelica Rylin on vocals, Teddy Westlund on bass and Christopher Vetter on guitars. Responsible for keyboards is Daniel Flores as well, replacing Andreas Lindahl.
Eye of Solitude is an atmospheric doom-death metal band that’s coming from London, UK. “Sui Caedere” is the sophomore release of the band which embellishes its doom-death metal with atmospheric, gothic, symphonic, funeral, dark, melancholic, sorrow, acoustic & melodic elements. The vocals are deep death growls… that even though they fit this kind of music, I believe that they are in need of being blended with some beautiful clean ones just to break the monotony of the death roars.
