Sirenia - Arcane Astral Aeons

Sirenia, a shining star in the Nordic symphonic gothic metal world, released their ninth album “Arcane Astral Aeons” through Napalm Records. I fell in love with this album when I first listened to it before interviewing Morten, on their latest tour. The dark fantasy style lyrics were brought to life by beautiful vocalist Emmanuelle Zoldan, complementing the rhythm and symphonic guitars and mystical keyboard.

Epica vs Metropole Orkest launch lyric video for “Beyond the Matrix - The Battle”

To celebrate the release of their new 10" inch today, metal giants Epica have launched a lyric video for their bombastic track “Beyond the Matrix - The Battle” – a unique collaboration with the Dutch Grammy-award winning Metropole Orkest.

Hi guys and welcome back to the music scene after 34 years! First of all, do tell us… why and which were those circumstances that urged you to take that decision?
 
S: It was that one specific night 2014 when we joined our forces after the decades and right after the gig we looked at each others and realized that the magic was still there and its worth to put more effort for it.
 

Sirenia release music video for second single “Into the Night”

The Nordic Epic Metal masters Sirenia recently released the second single “Into the Night” from the new album “Arcane Astral Aeons”, which will be out on October 26th, via Napalm Records.

Now they follow up with the gloomy and dark official music video for the new single.

Musta Paraati - Black Parade

Musta Paraati return with a new studio album almost 34 years after their latest studio work, “Käärmeet”, which was released in 1984. Certainly, that wasn’t an easy thing to do, especially after the passing of their original singer, Jore Vastelin in 1993; but it does show that the fire was burning inside the rest of the members and it was a matter of time to get back to biz.

Epica vs Metropole Orkest to release “Beyond the Matrix - The Battle” on October 26th 2018

Metal giants Epica have announced their unique collaboration with the Dutch Grammy-award winning Metropole Orkest.

The Metropole Orkest is a world-renowned orchestra who have performed and/or recorded with the world biggest superstars such as Sting, Bono and Brian Eno.
 
In the summer of 2017, with the help from their massive fan base, Epica won a high-profiled competition organized by the Metropole Orkest. First prize was a recording of a song of their choice with the orchestra.
