The Virginmarys to release new EP “Sitting Ducks” on September 22nd 2017

Macclesfield rockers The Virginmarys have announced their new EP “Sitting Ducks” will be released on September 22nd, 2017.

A collection of four new songs including “Sweet Loretta” (previous Classic Rock Magazine “Tracks pf the Week” winner + Team Rock featured “Singles Club”), this self-produced release carries the mantra of “Peace, Love, Truth, Music”.

“Sitting Ducks” is a cutting and sincere EP that speaks directly to what it is to live, love, and lose.

The Unit - I Won’t Die

The Unit is an aggressive rock duo from Long Beach, CA. Due to the nature of their project, I expected it to be a pretty basic garage/punk and metal inspired affair (somewhere between The Plasmatics and the Runaways) and I wasn’t far off… in fact I was spot on.

The Damned signs to Search and Destroy/Spinefarm Records

Raw Power Management, the international artist management company has announced a deal to sign legendary punk band The Damned to their label Search and Destroy, which is a joint venture with Spinefarm Records / Universal.

This new agreement will see The Damned release their first new album for nearly ten years on Search and Destroy. The as-yet-unnamed new album will be recorded this summer and is the follow up to, “So, Who’s Paranoid?”, which came out in 2008.

The Damned are managed by Jamal Chalabi, who along with Raw Power Management’s Commercial Director Don Jenkins was instrumental in brokering this agreement.

Dancehall to release new single “Virgin” on May 19th 2017

Dancehall are a trio of believers in distortion, energy and melody who meld their droning shoegaze with serrated punk. Based in London and from previous punk bands Kill Kenada & Ice Sea Dead People, they've honed their craft of writing tightly wound songs via copious amounts of bedroom demoing, rehearsing in Limehouse, recording and fried chicken.

“Virgin” & the B-side “Digging” were recorded live by Mark Jasper at Sound Savers Studios (Cold Pumas, Sauna Youth, Slowcoaches, etc.) under the constraints of the band's own 3-take rule.

(AllMyFriendzAre)DEAD releases new video for “Shot from the Ceiling”

The rock'n'roll band (AllMyFriendzAre)DEAD presents the new video for the song “Shot from the Ceiling”, from their third album “Wonders from the Grave” released by Overdrive Records.

Watch the video below.

Co-produced by the Calabrian-Ligurian company VisionAir and directed by Giancarlo Galante, the video tells about a journey into pulp and involves the band members, who play all the characters.

“All of the artists are dead / Now it's too late”: this is the starting point. We could talk endlessly about the destination, in vain.

Black Lips to release new studio album “Satan’s Graffiti or God’s Art?” on May 5th 2017

Atlanta flower punk pioneers Black Lips have announced that their first album in three years, “Satan’s Graffiti or God’s Art?”, is set for release on May 5th, 2017, in the UK through Vice Records.

Produced by Sean Lennon at his studio compound in upstate New York throughout 2016, the album is the group’s most musically evolved to date, while still staying true to their original blistering take on fuzzy, dirty rock n’ roll.

During the recording the band isolated themselves from the outside world, infusing the album with a focused liveliness similar to the spirit that brought them together in the first place.

Cherry Glazerr - Apocalipstick

The LA newcomers that were formed in 2012 are back, as a trio, with their third studio album, titled “Apocalipstick”. Well, this is the case that a band gets more recognition that it deserves and has a great idea about themselves without actually offering anything to music than just fooling around playing some basic music shit that we have heard millions of times before. I know that I’m gonna be hated for this but that’s the truth guys & gals, so you’d better respect it.

Spoilers share brand new single “No Pressure” & announce UK Tour 2016

Anti Vibe”, the debut LP from London-based garage outfit Spoilers, is a statement, recalling the punchier elements of Dischord Records post-hardcore whilst also drawing inspiration from motorik krautrock rhythms. Brought together by a teenhood friendship and a chance meeting at Deerhunter's ATP Festival, the four-piece cite inspiration from the likes of Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Thee Oh Sees & Male Bonding.
