The video underlines the strong connection of the Mystic Metal four-piece to mystical nature and ancient traditions.

Dreadnought announces Summer 2019 US Tour

Denver progressive doom bringers Dreadnought have confirmed a stretch of US live dates to kick off the summer season. Set to commence on June 21st and run through July 7th, the trek includes eight shows supporting Montreal’s Big|Brave, and follows several previously-announced performances this spring including an appearance at Psycho Smokeout in Los Angeles, California alongside Elder, Monolord, Belzebong, Amenra, Uada, and more. Motanka to release self-titled debut album on June 7th 2019

Ukrainian Wacken Metal Battle 2018 winners Motanka will release their self-titled debut album, “Motanka”, on June 7th, 2019, via Napalm Records.

Influenced by traditional Ukrainian folk music, metal tunes and modern electronica, the band creates a very unique mix that the band refers to as “Mystic Metal”.

Motanka managed to capture the trance-like magic of their live shows on their debut, which leaves each and every stereotype behind and hypnotizes with heavy ethno soundscapes.

Korpiklaani releases lyric video for digital single “Bier Bier”

Finnish Folk Metal Superstars Korpiklaani are currently touring Europe alongside Turisas and Trollfest in support of their latest studio album “Kulkija”.

To celebrate, the band released a special tour edition, which includes the “Beer Beer” CD, featuring 14 different versions of the eponymous track.

Taken from this CD is also “Bier Bier”, sung by Tankard’s Gerre, who even wrote the lyrics for the adaption. Watch the lyric video for the German “Beer Beer” version below.

Cellar Darling to release third single “Death” on February 15th 2019

After recently revealing the haunting concept of their upcoming album “The Spell” (out on March 22nd), telling the story about a girl who falls in love with death, Swiss progressive folk rockers Cellar Darling have two new announcements to make.

Says the band:
“On February 15th, the trio consisting of Anna Murphy, Merlin Sutter and Ivo Henzi will reveal another chapter of "The Spell" - their third single called "Death"”.

Korpiklaani releases lyric video for “Kaljaa”

Finnish Folk Metal Superstars Korpiklaani are about to kick off an extensive run of dates that will see them travelling across the globe throughout 2019. Kicking off with an 8 date Finnish tour on which they’ll be joined on stage by a brass section from Lahti Sinfonia and with support from Waltari, Trollfest and Profane Omen, the band will then hit the road across Europe alongside Turisas and Trollfest.

After surprising their fans with “Insomnia”, the proggy and mad first single from their upcoming album, the Swiss progressive folk rockers Cellar Darling have dropped a brand new song and have finally announced long-awaited details about their new release.

Their second studio album will be a concept album entitled “The Spell” and it is set to release on March 22nd, 2019.
