In April three of Norway’s most innovative and hard-hitting metal bands team up for a European tour. Co-headlined by Vreid & Solefald with special guests In Vain, brace yourself for a night of haunting Northern Lights.

 

A new show at Iduna in Drachten, Netherlands has been announced! The show replaces the date in Oberhausen on April 5th.

Extreme metal and art - two worlds apart? Not for legendary grindcore outfit NAPALM DEATH who will collaborate with ceramic artist Keith Harrison in a one-off performance at the renowned V&A in London on March 22, 2013 starting at 7:30pm UK time. The band will play a special live set through an experimental sculptural sound system constructed by Harrison. Clad with ceramic tiles, the structures will potentially disintegrate as the performance progresses.

After finishing off a very eventful and busy past year of promotions for their previous album release, "Bilateral", acclaimed Norwegian Progsters LEPROUS had directly entered studios to start the recordings for their next album after wrapping up their "European Progressive Assault" headlining tour in September-October 2012.

 

The new album is entitled "Coal" and will be released on May 20th, 2013 in Europe and May 28th, 2013 in North America via InsideOut Music.

 

Swedish death metal legends HYPOCRISY have just uploaded the first album trailer of their upcoming masterpiece “End Of Disclosure”.

 

Harasai, the upcoming German Melodic Death Metal force, have just revealed the cover artwork for their 2nd full-length album coming on April 26th 2013.  

 

"Psychotic Kingdom" was engineered, recorded and mixed by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann (Orden Ogan) and was mastered by Dennis Koehne (Caliban, Lacuna Coil, Tiamat).

 

It will be released through Quality Steel Records and is distributed by Soulfood Music. 

 

Tampa metallers DARK SERMON have dropped their first single called "Imperfect Contrition". The single is the first off their all new LP, "In Tongues," (out: April 12).

DIY heavy metal act on the rise, Seeker, has announced a headlining U.S. tour, "The Rise of Darkness Tour," set to commence next month. Fla. metal outfit, Forty Winters, will accompany Seeker on the two-week escapade, beginning April 5 in Seeker's hometown of Dallas, Texas. A full list of confirmed dates can be seen below.
