The fearless five-some from Shreveport will be back on the road this summer to play some festivals and shows in Europe. 

 

Fans should expect nothing less than an incredible live show. Guitar World Magazine says IWRESTLEDABEARONCE "creates an almost unclassifiable melange of musical genres and styles", and About.com Heavy Metal explains, "whether they're billing themselves as black metal or 'electro-jazz-metal-tech-triphop-grind", it's an incredible sound", 

 

Carved is a new Italian band that after the release of an EP in 2010, they return, three years later, with their debut full-length album. Carved are into the extreme metal side but they have embellished their death metal sound with symphonic, atmospheric, heavy & mellow (popish) elements. The clean vocals both male and female (yes there are on a couple of tunes but the press release says nothing about it) are giving a “popish”/mellower touch, but they are the minority here.
 

U.K. doomlord, My Dying Bride, has been imposing its legacy for over two decades, since the debut album "As the Flower Withers" surfaced in 1992. Now the morose troupe returns with its latest work, "The Manuscript", set for release on Peaceville Records on May 13, 2013 on CD and vinyl.

 

"The Manuscript" contains four new and exclusive songs; a dark voyage spanning over 27 minutes of supreme doom in the unmistakable My Dying Bride style of heaviness mixed with dark tales of foreboding. It was recorded and mixed at Futureworks Studios in Manchester, U.K. with the band's long-time producer, Mags.

U.S. death metal legend, Autopsy, is set to defile the recording studio next month, as the band enters to lay down the tracks for its upcoming album, "The Headless Ritual", due out this year on Peaceville Records. Recording will commence on April 1, 2013 at Fantasy Studios in San Francisco, Calif. with producer Adam Munoz.

The music video was premiered at the Indie Recordings Label Night at the Inferno Festival in Oslo, Norway yesterday. "Introspection" shows the band from a more serious and mature side than before. The band also brings more of their 80's inspiration into this track with Obsidian C. showing a lot more of his impressive solo skills.

 

Italy’s Mortuary Drape will reissue two of its classic albums on CD and vinyl through Peaceville Records in 2013, starting with "Tolling 13 Knell" on May 27, plus "Buried in Time" to follow June/July. Each release has been fully remastered, with work overseen by the band, including bonus tracks on each release, plus updated layout.

  

Grab your denim vests and leather jackets, put on those hi-tops and guzzle down a few cold beers: because a true thrash metal triumvirate is ready to lay waste to a bunch of European clubs!!!

 

Leading the mob are San Francisco veterans HEATHEN: founded in 1984 – amongst others – by EXODUS guitarist Lee Altus, they released two landmark albums with “Breaking the silence” (1987) and “Victims of deception” (1991) before things got a bit quiet in camp HEATHEN. They returned with the thrash manifesto “The Evolution of Chaos” in 2010, and now the guys are busy working on new material.

Heaven and Hell Records will be releasing the complete recorded works from North Carolina death thrashers FALSE PROPHET on CD as part of the Lost Relics collection.

 

The guitarist Andrea Giordano has left Sawthis due to musical differences.

 

He has been replaced by Janos Murri, long-standing experience guitarist (ex Resurrecturis, Darkside, Demolition, international tour with Death Angel, Moonspell, Impaled Nazarene, Vital Remains....) and already on stage with the band in two European tours.

 

Sawthis actually are finishing the mixing of the new album.
