The Neal Morse Band to release new studio album “The Great Adventure” on January 25th 2019

The Neal Morse Band - Neal Morse (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Mike Portnoy (drums, vocals), Randy George (bass), Bill Hubauer (keyboards, vocals), Eric Gillette (guitars, vocals) - will take fans on “The Great Adventure” with their latest double concept album due out January 25th, 2019, on Radiant Records via Metal Blade worldwide.

It will be available in three formats: a two CD package, two CD/DVD Special Edition featuring behind-the-scenes video clips of the making of the album, and three vinyl LPs. Pre-orders begin December 4th.

Dissonant Distance announces November 2018 European Tour

Improvisational progressive metal group Dissonant Distance have announced 5 new dates in November, as part of their campaign leading up to the release of their self-titled debut album on November 16th, 2018, via Sliptrick Records.

The band’s music can be described as spontaneous, free and in the moment, encompassing elements of progressive rock, jazz, fusion, blues and Indian music. It’s improvised music fused with the spirit of punk and jazz.

Soft Machine to release new studio album “Hidden Details” on September 8th 2018

In support of their forthcoming new album, British music legends Soft Machine will embark on their first North American tour since 1974 in October 2018, followed by the second North-American leg of the tour in January/February 2019.

In concert, their set list will include material from all parts of the band's repertoire from 1970 onwards, but this is emphatically not a nostalgia act resting on its laurels. Last weekend Soft Machine played their first two shows in North America since 1974 (it was in 1974 they toured USA and Canada during the Bundles/Allan Holdsworth era). Both shows, at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Quebec City, were exceptionally well received by the enthusiastic audience and local press.

The Neal Morse Band’s triumphant double-album, “The Similitude of a Dream”, is the most acclaimed release that Morse has helmed to date.

The 2017 “Road Called Home” tour was their most extensive yet, including new continents for the band.

At the 013 in Tilburg, Holland, the stars aligned for the most commanding performance of the run, captured for live release in stunning quality.

Now the Neal Morse Band is releasing on June 15th, 2018, “The Similitude of a Dream: Live in Tilburg”, Netherlands 2017 2CD/2DVD Set.

Virgil & Steve Howe to release “Nexus” on November 17th 2017

On 11th September, 2017, Virgil Howe - the youngest son of Yes guitarist Steve Howe - passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41. Yes announced the immediate cancellation of the remaining dates of the Yestival tour.

Their duo album “Nexus” had been completed before the tour started and was due out this year. Steve Howe has decided to continue with these plans.

Chronus to release self-titled debut album on October 28th 2017 in Europe

Hailing from Helsingborg, Sweden, Chronus is an exalted quartet formed in 2015 and led by the Baron. Young, fresh and visionary, they carry the metal torch with astonishing maturity.

Delivering a majestic performance filled with striking melodies and hard-hitting riffs, Chronus have been compared to the likes of Mastodon and Gojira.

Vocalist/guitarist the Baron, dressed in white, embodies a voice reminisent of Ozzy Osbourne, complementing the work of his three black-clad associates.
