Roine Stolt’s The Flower King to release new studio album “Manifesto of an Alchemist” on November 23rd 2018

Roine Stolt, known as the guitarist, singer, writer and at times band leader of the groups The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Agents of Mercy, Kaipa DC, as well as from his work with prog icon Jon Anderson and the new super-group The Sea Within, is releasing a new album on November 23rd, 2018.

Under the moniker Roine Stolt’s The Flower King, “Manifesto of an Alchemist” offers 10 songs and almost 70 minutes of playing time celebrating the style Roine is most revered for: progressive rock, richly orchestrated with all the trademark elements from four decades of the genre.

The Black Queen drops “Thrown into the Dark” video

The Black Queen, the LA-based electro-alternative trio out described as “a euphoric musical experience”, share a video for “Thrown into the Dark” - check it out below.

“This is a song, we made a video”, explains Greg Puciato (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan).

Steven Alexander Ryan (Nine Inch Nails/A Perfect Circle technician) adds: “We like it”.

Stellar Circuits to release new studio album “Ways We Haunt” on November 9th 2018

Ølten will release their new album “Ambiance” on November 2nd, 2018.

Today the presale kicks off and the band reveal the cover artwork and an album teaser.
 
The band comments on the cover: “When we announced the name of the album, "Ambiance", to our graphic designer he immediately imagined a waiting room at a doctor's office. So we decided to turn this idea into reality and create Ølten's version of a waiting room”.

The Pineapple Thief - Dissolution

Bruce Soord did a checkmate move when he added ta charismatic drummer Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson) on the band’s line-up on their previous album “Your Wilderness” that was released in 2016. It was a matter of time for Gavin to contribute to the songwriting and he did so on the new album “Dissolution”. That thing showcased that Bruce is not an egocentric songwriter and that he is open-minded when it comes to the band’s own good.

Haken to release new studio album “Vector” on October 26th 2018

Haken, one of progressive music’s most exciting bands, recently announced details of their much-anticipated fifth studio album titled “Vector”, due for release on October 26th, 2018.

The album was produced by the band themselves, and recorded & mixed by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (Periphery, Devin Townsend Project), with the artwork once again being handled by Blacklake.

The Pineapple Thief have launched their brand new video for “Try as I Might”, the new single from their forthcoming new studio album “Dissolution”.

The highly anticipated follow up to 2015’s “Your Wilderness”, is the band’s second album to feature King Crimson and Porcupine Tree drummer Gavin Harrison.

Vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Bruce Soord explains his dystopian view: “The video follows the theme of the song and the album - if you sign up to this hyper connected world we live in, then you have to live with the consequences. Try as you might to get out of it”.
