Chilean cult PENTAGRAM CHILE have completed the recording process for their debut album “The Malefice”. The album was recorded both in Sade Studios in Santiago, Chile and HVR studios in Suffolk, UK.
The album will be out around June/July and the first edition will also include re-recordings of classic 80s demo songs. Expect nothing else but a total Death/Thrash killer record the way it’s meant to be!
01 - The Death Of Satan
Haven’t we had enough with all those 80s metal bands that reunited sometime in the 00’s or even before the new millennium, trying to renew (?) themselves or the music genre they were/are serving? I didn’t get why & how they got split in the first place and what they have (if they do so) to offer nowadays, especially when album by album they present the same ol’ boring things.
Cradle of Filth has posted a brand new track, "Manticore", from the upcoming album, "The Manticore and Other Horrors", for streaming on Soundcloud.
"Manticore" is the second track to surface from the band's impending 10th studio release, which is due out on October 30th in North America via Nuclear Blast.
Posthum will release the new album ”Lights Out” on September 21st.
“Lights Out” can be described as an atmospheric and gloomy album with a melancholic undertone, even though some of the songs are more aggressive and with progressive elements. Lyrically Posthum draws inspiration from nature, dreams and nightmares, the material and commercial world and the human nature.
Check out the outstanding coverart and the tracklist from the upcoming album!
Today Tantara release a new video from the recording of their upcoming album “Based On Evil”, produced by Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica, Blind Guardian, Rainbow), to be released the 24th of August. Check it out below!
The sound of Posthum is the sound of dark, Norwegian forests and endless snow-covered plains. It is melancholic, atmospheric and hypnotizing Norwegian Black Metal. They released their debut album “Posthum” in 2009 receiving great reviews from the underground press, and triggering a strong demand for a swift sequel.
Posthum accomplish what many bands are merely attempting, which is to deliver a work of art that is complete in itself; and it needs to be said that they did this brilliantly – 8/10 Metal.de
