CRIMSON DAWN inked a deal with MY GRAVEYARD PRODUCTIONS to release the album “In Strange Aeons”.
The band, led by Dario Beretta (Drakkar) and Antonio Pecere (Rapid Fire, Betoken), plays an exciting Epic Doom inspired by bands such as Candlemass and Black Sabbath, without losing its personal touch.
Civil War, the new symphonic power metal band from ex-Sabaton members, Rikard Sundén, Oskar Montelius, Daniel Mullback and Daniel Myhr, along with frontman, Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors), and bass player, Stefan "Pizza" Eriksson (Volturyon), will release their debut album “The Killer Angels” on June 11th through Despotz Records.

Trying to figure out what kind of music this band plays wasn’t hard. Judging by the cover artwork, I was sorta sure it had to do with heavy metal music generally. This newcomer from Italy started in 2009 and they released their debut in 2011. Now after nearly a year they’re back with their sophomore release.
TURISAS has officially started recording their upcoming and 4th studio album. The band is currently recording drums at Atomic Spa studio in Helsinki, Finland, and will continue the recordings in different locations until the end of January. The follow up to 2011's "Stand Up And Fight" is scheduled for a release via Century Media Records in the May of 2013.
At the same time, the band is also announcing a change in the line-up. TURISAS' original drummer, Tuomas "Tude" Lehtonen, is stepping aside from the podium after playing with the band from the very beginning.
Icy Steel propitiously released their third full-length work after seven years of existence. With the addition of the new drummer Flavio Fancellu, the line-up is now steady and ready to go further.
Grave Digger have being going on since the early 80s, faltering ever slightly along the way and maybe sometimes taking a year or two off, but they have pretty much been rather consistent in their output both in terms of quantity as well as quality, as with the exception of one or two albums, the listener, pretty much knew what he was gonna get.
Swedish epic power metallers SABATON issue the following announcement regarding their upcoming “Swedish Empire Tour” together with their label mates ELUVEITIE:
