Sabaton announces North American 2015 tour dates with Nightwish

Billboard-charting Swedish heavy metallers & avid war historians Sabaton – who devastated U.S. and Canadian stages with their boundless energy this past year opening for Iced Earth and most recently Amon Amarth – are returning to North America in 2015 as direct support to Finland-based symphonic metal storytellers Nightwish.

Taking a moment prior to their headlining show at The Whisky in Hollywood, California tonight, Sabaton members share their thoughts on their quick return to the western hemisphere:

Sarpedon to release “Anomic Nation” on December 5th 2014

Norway’s Sarpedon are finally poised to unleash themselves onto the metal scene, having been years in the making. A long-time project of guitarist Torgeir P. Krokfjord, the band have been working together for several years – and whilst all members have been pursuing other projects and careers throughout, the Sarpedon project has now finally come to fruition.

Isole to release “The Calm Hunter” on November 28th 2014

Swedish masters of Epic Prog-Doom Metal Isole return with a new album! Their sixth full-length is entitled “The Calm Hunter” and will be released on November 28th, 2014 through Cyclone Empire.

The album was recorded and mixed in Studio Apocalypse by Jonas Lindström (assisted by the rest of the band) and mastered in Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (Katatonia, Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth).

The cover artwork was created by renowned artist Travis Smith (Anathema, Bloodbath, Paradise Lost, Nevermore, Opeth).

Varathron to release “Untrodden Corridors of Hades” on November 21st 2014

Long-running black metal veterans Varathron will release a brand new album entitled “Untrodden Corridors of Hades” on November 21st, 2014 in Europe and 9th of December in rest of the world. The cover of their first full-length since 2009's "Stygian Forces of Scorn" has been created by Mark Riddick (Arsis, Absu, Mystifier, Nun Slaughter, The Black Dahlia Murder). Saille to release “Eldritch” on November 10th 2014

One of the most promising extreme metal outfits to emerge in the last 5 years, Saille, today reveals details for a brand new concept album. Manowar announces new album plans & updated touring schedule

Manowar have announced their return into the studio to begin working on their next studio album.
 
In order to concentrate on the yet unnamed new studio album, Manowar will postpone their U.S. tour dates in November due to scheduling conflicts. Tickets will remain valid and updates regarding new dates will be announced as soon as possible. Those who cannot attend the re-scheduled concerts will be able to get a full refund.
 

Heroes Of Vallentor to release “Warriors Path Part I” on October 10th 2014

It all started back in 2005 in Sweden with the two brothers Lars and Bjorn Skoldmark and they started to write songs together. In 2007 the two brothers had recruited a guitarist, Anders Nilsson, and a drummer, Erik Forsgren (Slowgate, Skeleton Birth) and they had their first gig in at a local festival. The band went into studio to record their first demo "Lawgiver" in the beginning of 2008. During the next year the band lost both Anders and Erik, so they had to recruit some new members. Tommy Johansson (Reinxeed) joined the band as a guitarist but no drummer yet.
