Gunship release music video for new single “When You Grow Up, Your Heart Dies”

Friday 5th October, synthwave pioneers Gunship return with a brand new 13-track album titled “Dark All Day” and unveil a new live-action video for the third single “When You Grow Up, Your Heart Dies”.

“When You Grow Up, Your Heart Dies” features an innovative segment in which fans submitted recordings of themselves giving uplifting statements, led by self-proclaimed “King of the Nerds” Wil Wheaton (The Big Bang Theory, Star Trek, Stand By Me…). Gunship then weaved these submissions into their song.

Powerman 5000 announces Spring 2018 US Tour

With 2018 underway, Powerman 5000 is back with the second leg of the New Wave Tour.

The tour kicks off in Lubbock, Texas, and makes its way through the Southern part of the US, including two iHeart Radio shows (98 Rockfest and Earthday Birthday) in Florida, and ends on the West Coast in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Come see Powerman play hits from the “New Wave” album, as well as many all-time favorites.

Carpenter Brut announces Spring 2018 North American Tour

Carpenter Brut, the enigmatic French synthwave artist whose Trilogy album and subsequent “Turbo Killer” video placed him at the forefront of the growing musical movement, releases the eight-song album, “Leather Teeth”, today via No Quarter Prod/Caroline.

“Leather Teeth” is the soundtrack to a movie envisioned by Carpenter Brut, one that tells the story of a shy American teenager, Bret Halford, who can't get the girl and will do anything he can to win her over, including becoming the singer of one of the most talked about bands in mid-'80s glam-metal, Leather Patrol.

Powerman 5000 announces Fall 2017 US Tour

In support of the upcoming album, “New Wave”, Powerman 5000 announces the first leg of a worldwide tour that will last through the end of 2018.

The band will first hit the West Coast, hosting their record release party on October 26th, 2017, at the world famous Whisky A Go Go.

Afterward, come visit the Powerman 5000 booth at LA Comic Con. The convention takes place from October 27-29, 2017, at the LA Convention Center.

Powerman 5000 signs with Pavement Entertainment and announces new studio album “New Wave”

Powerman 5000 have inked a worldwide deal with Pavement Entertainment. The new album “New Wave” marks the next chapter in the world of PM5K and the follow up to 2014's highly successful “Builders of the Future”.

According to vocalist Spider One: “We went a bit dirtier on this one. Ripped it up more than the last couple of records. One of the goals was to recreate the noise of the live show. Keep in the chaos.” On the album title, Spider adds, “New Wave? Are we a new wave band? Well, I would say that we have always had more in common with Devo than Dio”.
