Darsombra to release new studio album “Transmission” on August 9th 2019

As Baltimore-based psychedelic/experimental duo Darsombra prepares to release their fifth LP, “Transmission”, in August, the band has just issued a new video teaser for the album alongside pre-order links, the cover artwork, and more. In addition to the record’s details, the band has also posted their latest massive tour routing which sees them on the road across North America for two months surrounding the album’s release.
 

SednA to release new studio album “The Man Behind the Sun” on September 13th 2019

Spikerot Records are thrilled to announce the release of SednA’s upcoming album “The Man Behind the Sun”, a 33-minute-long sonic opus delving deep into the hazes of Black Metal, Post Rock and Doom. In their third full-length album in ten years, SednA have channeled all their strongest sentiments to create their most crushing effort to date, solemn and uplifting.

Earth unveils new track “The Colour of Poison”

Continuing to stoke the anticipation revolving around their mighty return to the studio and stage, legendary duo Earth have shared another snapshot of their forthcoming LP “Full Upon Her Burning Lips”.

Coupled with a stark black-and-white visualiser, the five-and-a-half minute dirge “The Colour of Poison” is packed with Earth’s thematically meditative, sonically immense hallmarks.

Earth to release new studio album “Full Upon Her Burning Lips” on May 24th 2019

Over the course of their thirty trips around the sun, Earth has remained diligent in their commitment to monolithic minimalism. The sonic vocabulary may have changed - from their early years churning out seismic drone metal on albums like “Earth 2” (1993) to the dusty Morricone-tinged comeback album “Hex; or Printing in the Infernal Method” (2005) to the meditative rock approach of “Primitive and Deadly” (2014) - but the underlying principle of austerity and restraint remains a constant.

Zvi to release new studio album “Deer Pink” on April 12th 2019

Nefarious Industries announces the details for Zvi’s new full-length album, “Deer Pink”, now confirmed for release in April.
 
Zvi is the eclectic solo project of NYC-based multi-instrumentalist Ron Varod, known for his roles in Kayo Dot, Sabbath Assembly, Psalm Zero, So Is The Tongue, and others. While previous Zvi  material can be interpreted as a minimal experimental drone twist on the traditional singer/songwriter, 2019 ushers in a new era of experimentation with “Deer Pink”.
 

Yatra to release debut full-length album “Death Ritual” on January 4th 2019

Grimoire Records presents “Death Ritual”, the debut full-length album by Maryland-based doom trio Yatra, confirming the album for early January release. The record's cover art, track listing, and more have been posted.
 
Yatra is a journey into mountainous sounds, transcending into the deep forests of primeval times. Born from the ashes of the Maryland doom band Blood Raven, the new three-piece emerged in 2017 as frontman Dana Helmuth's new vehicle to embrace the darkness and doom. Confident in Maria Geisbert and Mike Tull as his new rhythm section, Helmuth's inspiration was fueled exponentially.
 

Mirrors For Psychic Warfare announce November 2018 European Tour

Mirrors For Psychic Warfare, featuring Neurosis’ Scott Kelly and Buried At Sea’s Sanford Parker, will kick off a European tour next month.

The journey begins November 6th and runs through November 24th with additional shows to be announced in the coming weeks. See all confirmed dates below.

Seattle, Washington's death harsh metal trio Hissing has signed with Profound Lore Records for the release of their impending debut full-length release, “Permanent Destitution”.

The LP is slated for release on October 26th, 2018,the label this week issuing preorders for the record as well as the lead single, “Eulogy in Squalor”.
