Boduf Songs’ seventh album and first on Advance Base’s Orindal Records marks the project’s most detailed album yet, somehow voyaging into deeper recesses than ever before. “Abyss Versions” will see the light of day on October 4th, 2019.

Darsombra to release new studio album “Transmission” on August 9th 2019

As Baltimore-based psychedelic/experimental duo Darsombra prepares to release their fifth LP, “Transmission”, in August, the band has just issued a new video teaser for the album alongside pre-order links, the cover artwork, and more. In addition to the record’s details, the band has also posted their latest massive tour routing which sees them on the road across North America for two months surrounding the album’s release.

Following the release of their universally acclaimed “Life Metal” LP and the first leg of their US tour last April, Sunn O))) is pleased to announce a West Coast tour in support of the album.

This September, Sunn O))) will canvas the West Coast, featuring performances in Dallas, Austin, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and more, marking their first dates out west on the “Life Metal” album cycle. Tovarish to release new studio album “If the War Comes Tomorrow” on July 5th 2019

Providence, Rhode Island-based experimental/doom metal outfit Tovarish presents their harrowing new album, “If the War Comes Tomorrow”, as the band marks its tenth year in existence. Now confirmed for release through Argonauta Records in early July, the track listing, cover art, a brief trailer, and additional details on the album have been posted.
 

This Will Destroy You announces August 2019 US Headlining Tour

Instrumental/post-rock unit This Will Destroy will return to stages this summer on a western US tour.

Set to commence on August 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada, the trek will make its way through eight cities upon its conclusion August 17th in Flagstaff, Arizona. Support will be provided by Brin, the solo project of Portland, Oregon based multi-instrumentalist/sound contortionist, Colin Blanton. Tickets on go on sale May 10th. Big|Brave release music video for new single “Holding Pattern”

One of heavy music’s most fearless explorers, Big|Brave trek even more uncharted terrain with their latest single “Holding Pattern”.

Clocking in at nearly ten minutes, the slow burning track is commandeered by pinprick drum fills, swaths of reverb-cloaked riffing, and, of course, Robin Wattie’s signature siren song vocals.

Earth unveils new track “The Colour of Poison”

Continuing to stoke the anticipation revolving around their mighty return to the studio and stage, legendary duo Earth have shared another snapshot of their forthcoming LP “Full Upon Her Burning Lips”.

Coupled with a stark black-and-white visualiser, the five-and-a-half minute dirge “The Colour of Poison” is packed with Earth’s thematically meditative, sonically immense hallmarks.
